Is the field a suckers bet?
I am new to DI and have taken classes. I practice 2 hours every day just throwing and trying to get my landing zone. I stack the dice in a column so I can keep throwing and stay focused on my throw. I use a few different sets. I am the king of single and double pitch. lol. I guess what I am asking is that I see my numbers hitting the field more then 50% of the time. Seems if that is the case then how is that a suckers bet? Some days when I am shooting 4/2 2/4 set I don’t get that many. But like today I had 13 roller and 9 hits were in the field. I only threw one 11 in that roll. My next roll was 8 rolls I had 4 9’s 2 10’s both of these rolls were using the hardway set.

A skilled DI, using the right set can enjoy an advantage in the field, IMHO, especially if they are using a set that is high on 12 production to capitalize on the double/triple option. However, as you've stated you're the "king of single and double pitch", hence I'm not sure stacking the dice is your best chance, since obviously a high degree of influence is lacking.
Also, I'm not sure 50% is enough of a result to produce an advantage without some type of progression betting, so I'd suggest evolving to an axial toss while targeting a 60% field result. I know a few field players so that's not as hard as it sounds - as the hard part is developing a proper axial toss. The benefits of doing that are far greater in the long run than just a field advantage, so go for it, DN8R

Your lack of faith in The Force disturbs me, Commander.......
