The Axis Power Craps Fa;; Shipment of Dice is HERE EARLY! That means the time to order these beauties is NOW!
These dice are manufactured by John Huxley Company, formerly Midwest Game Supply, the only U.S. based manufacturer of casino dice. They are certified perfect to 1/10,000th of an inch and are the same dice used in casinos across the country – which is why it takes us so long to get orders in. If APC is in line to get our dice built next and Caesars drops in an order for 50,000 sticks of dice – guess who goes to the front of the line? Nevertheless, our dice are built with the same care and to the same standards as the big boys’.
We only sell the dice in “sets” of two sticks. At present we only have .775 inch sand finish dice in stock. You will receive one stick of red dice and one stick of green dice in that size and finish. This will give you five pairs of new red/green dice with matching serial numbers – perfect for those of you who track your rolls on BoneTracker, as BT is set up for tracking with one red die (on the right) and one green die (on the left) by default. Even if you do not utilize BoneTracker, this will make your roll tracking in practice sessions immediately easier.
Our SPRING SUPPLIES of Axis Power Craps Dice are SOLD OUT. Watch for the announcement when our SUMMER SUPPLY hits soon!
I have not ordered them yet. I am watching from the sidelines at present, trying to see just how the dice business is going to play out here this year. My last order (which indeed was a large one) sat on the shelf about three times as long as usual, which tied up a lot of cash for a long time for me. I have to pay for the dice 100% up front so they're just sitting there on the shelf with money tied up in them that could be earning me money in the stock market if nothing else when they are not selling. Meanwhile, everyone and his brother in law has gotten into the dice business of late. I get it. It's not a particularly profitable item but it's a good advertising item if you spend the extra cash to get your logo on it. Dice Coach was the first guy to start selling dice back around 2003. I started shortly after, maybe six or eight months later. I may still have a pair of 2003 dice around here somewhere. I KNOW I have some 2004 dice because I keep running across them in my old dice bag. Anyway, there have been a lot of other folks selling dice. Howard Rock 'n Roller. Golden Touch. Hawaiian Craps Shooter. Premier Casino Hosting. Casino Tears. And a couple of more who slip my mind. Or maybe I just don't want to think about it. Anyway, my point is, I can see why my sales slipped. There was a time when, if I was running low on dice I would just tell the customer that I was out of what they were looking for, but I was sure Dice Coach had some so call him, and I would give them Beau's number. And Beau would always call me and tell me how much he appreciated the referral. On the flip side, sometimes Beau would call me and tell me he had a guy in Louisiana looking for a private lesson but he didn't want to come to Vegas could I handle him. And I'd say, "Send him on." But today? I mean, I'm friends with 80% of these people. Guess you can probably figure out the one that doesn't fills in the other 20%. LOL. But what the hell. Few people like him anyway. My point is - I don't know what the hell my point is. Odds are I'll get back in the dice business here in the next few months. I'm coming up on my prime Seminar Season and I don't want to be doing my classes with dice from Gambler's General Store, so I'll get some coming soon. Thanks for asking.
