Heck, it sounds like I should use Dave`s System
Re: Dave's System
If you ever came up this way I will introduce you. I have not seen him in awhile but the dealers told me he even shoots the dice these days.
We are getting a little snow from the big storm down south. Wish y'all would keep that to yourselves.

Re: Dave's System
Is this still working for you folks? I may be doing something wrong, but this is the first I have heard of this and have been playing it through the simulator in the Wizard of odds site and doing nothing but getting completely creamed.
Lost the $500 max in all 15 times I have tried it so far, never getting past the first shooter without being down over $150.
I have long felt that sim leans heavy toward making points and is not all that random, but maybe it's just because I always use it to try DP stuff.
In any event, Dave's system is losing at a record pace for me so far. Seriously, 15 straight $500 buyins lost in a matter of minutes each.

Re: Dave's System
I'm about ready to try Dave's System in ALL it's Glory, just don't want to be banned when I need to dig my way out. Down $2500 and all of a sudden they don't want my action anymore.
Can't be any worse than my other systems here lately. Even MP's CTSL burned me the other day.

You already found success the rest of us are still looking.
Re: Dave's System
Wizard of odds sims is slanted a few different ways. I too have treid Dave's play there and got creamed as well. Try the play for fun drop down and hit "more" at the bottom. When the choice screen shows all the options click on craps. That sim is a little more fair from what I can see and Dave's system does work there at times.
Want to try and confirm that the main craps game is rigged wrong. Make a PL and then do what you want with place bets. A 7 does pop frequently. However, make a field bet and very few 7's sho oin the next roll. Wierd.
Dave was banned because of winning.

Was if before or after the fire and the buy out. Old or new Mgt?
Bet that's why they don't have the fire bet?
Re: Dave's System
Let's drag scenario out, say you get all 6 numbers covered with odds on the 5,6,8,9. You have $330 on the layout if my math is right. If an inside number hits you lose $70 or $85 (most likely scenario other than the 7 itself). If the 7 shows you win $260 (check my math).
If we get picked off, we place the odds back on the number (assuming it was an inside number) and now runs that scenario over again with a loss of $70/$85 likely or a $260 win in play.
Are you not just as well off to take everything down and hop the 7's for $20 each and a $20 horn bet?
I'm risking roughly the same money for a better payout should the 7 show, the horn covers what would have been a push and I'm only really losing if the 4/10 shows.

Dave plays where the fire was. He got banned from the corporate giant.

Re: Dave's System
No because a box number could be rolled, then a 7. You would lose $80 and then miss out on the other 5 box numbers you took down.AtGame7 wrote:Are you not just as well off to take everything down and hop the 7's for $20 each and a $20 horn bet?
Re: Dave's System
Just ran 42 sessions of 1/2 Dave on WinCraps
$5 DP $5 DC til trigger $30 odds on 5689 take down odds after 2 wacks
$300 session loss limit, $100 win limit.
31 wins 11 losses $1365 ave $32 per session
BUT and theirs always a BUT I followed Sam Grafsteins Stop Betting Triggers of 7 11 and 12. Due to the stop triggers I only hit my loss limit once. I like stop triggers, I like this system, hit and run. The novelity of casinos wore off a long time ago and if I can get in and out in 15 min including parking thats a good day.
Probably try it in action sometime this week.

Re: Dave's System
So? I just go again with the Hop 7's and Horn bet. If a box number is rolled I was out $70 or $85 AND replacing the bet using Dave's system. Instead of replacing it I do the Hop 7 and Horn bet again. If a box number hits I'm out the same money (pretty much). In the Dave's system I would be taking down my odds bets then anyway.wudged wrote:No because a box number could be rolled, then a 7. Two box numbers my way -$160
Two box numbers Dave's way -$140 to -$170
My way pays better if the 7 hits. Dave's way does leave you with 5 flat bets working, though.
Re: Dave's System
Could you imagion if after years and years of study, thousands of dollars both real and virtual.
That the Hoppin Horn Combo turns out to be the Holy Grail of Craps.
I guess everything else is upside down, Black is White, Right is Wrong so why not.
Think I will take my hard earned and well thought out craps grubstake and go play the tie at Baccaratt.
Its GOTTA work I tell ya!

Re: Dave's System
Not really. You are taking $320 and down, but then factor in the 2 losing $20 hopping 7 and losing $20 horn = net $260 - same as Dave.AtGame7 wrote: My way pays better if the 7 hits.

..............................................................................
Mini Bac was my goto game when the tables for my first passion Craps were not available to play.as I could sit and wait it out.....
I actually at one time had a copy of this book( English language )....and the algorithm/or" geometric charting"
actually worked on some few Mini Bac sessions I played using the methodology..
in a time period that stretched over several years ..Since only a small number of hands
"qualified" using John Q's directions, for those other hands ,
I simply shadowed the guy who
seemed to guess correctly most often...
It was amusing to see THAT GUY shadow MY TIE WAGERS....We would laugh and high five ,however I never understood a word he spoke,so
although we looked for the other when playing Mini Bac,
we never translated that into becoming partners ......
Most of the Bac I played was at the Beau Rivarge ..at that time they offered several
$25 tables in the off hours and early hours on weekends
I feel that my copy is packed away with a massive bunch of "MY STUFF" that was placed in storage when I married Bride of Wild Child and relocated to THE FARM.
From my experience...finding a used copy could be worth the investment....

PS :
The author indicated that he held live sessions...Since I had enjoyed some success using it.I attempted to make contact with "Mr John Qui " the author....
To date I have had zero success communicating with the author or the publisher......
I had wondered about purchasing the video rights to publish the book or even have it written
into a cyber game instructional..............
Sure would like to find "Mr John Qui" or knowledge on gaining rights to an out of print book

When I see a Stop Trigger # 7, 11, 12 I quit making new DC bets, the odds come down after 2 wacks just like normal.Bones wrote:WC;

I find the Stop Triggers allow a lessor BR due to the fact that when some Randi goes on a tear
your just a spectator because you quit betting on him all the way back on the CO 11 four points ago.
Many Many times after being pissed off by being taken out of the action by a stupid 12 that neither helped me nor hurt me and then 10 rolls later looking upward and saying "Thanks Sam"
Sam doesn't like the 12 because it's a 35 to 1 crap roll that pays the Don't nothing.
Still havn't had the Balls or Bankroll to try the Full Dave. Sure would help if I could hookup with a local DI who can throw 7's on command. When I Hop the Red for the Dealers, thats your que.
