Heavy’s & DarthN8r’s Axis Power Craps

Back to Biloxi Craps Clinic

September 11 – 13th, 2020

Believe it or not, September is just around the corner! That means oyster season returns to the Gulf Coast – and right behind it Axis Power Craps is rolling back into Biloxi for another Gulf Coast Gamblin’ Weekend.

Craps players – you’ll absolutely LOVE Biloxi casino’s generous odds, automatic Buy bets on outside numbers, friendly dealers and easy comps. And no matter how much weight you put on over the 2020 “extended Spring break” – your flip flops still fit.

It’s hard to beat a craps weekend with old friends and new, fresh-from-the-Gulf seafood, including some of the best shrimp and oysters on the planet, and an opportunity to learn dice control from two of the best in the business – Heavy and Nate – aka DarthN8r.
And it’s all coming to the coast the weekend of September 11, 2020.

Axis Power Craps is the oldest continuously operated dice control school in the business, and Nate and I have known each other for just about that entire time. Nate is my regular partner for Las Vegas Seminars, and this time I’ve coaxed him out to the Gulf Coast for a taste of Southern hospitality. And while Nate is my resident “dark side” expert – don’t think this guy can’t handle the dice. He’s the same guy who tossed that monster hand at the Flamingo a couple of years back where I took my $18 eight up to $1800 – and it SHOULD have been at $4200 but I had my bets turned off twice when the eight rolled! Our recent Vegas seminars have been some of our best attended – and highest rated classes in years.

Why not plan to arrive on the coast a day early, hook up with friends old and new to get a little casual play in before the “official” fun begins? But hang onto your bankroll because this weekend’s line-up includes a minimum of TWO live sessions with the coaches with NO live session surcharge.

Assuming current social distancing guidelines allow it, Friday night will feature our traditional Meet and Greet Get-Together. We’ll hook up at a local Beachfront Bar to knock back a few, renew old friendships and make new ones. Hungry? The place I have in mind does great bar-food, but if you want oysters that were reefed up in the Gulf that morning there are plenty of options available. Kick back, relax and enjoy the company of your fellow crapsters. Afterwards you’ll be on your own to hit the casinos alone or in teams as we attempt to tame the tables. But don’t be out partying all night. Saturday morning Nate and I will have serious craps training on our minds.

Saturday’s class will take place at the local dealer school. This class will offer the best of both worlds. All attendees will have the opportunity for hands-on coaching from both Heavy and Nate. Both coaches offer slightly different approaches to dice influencing – both with the same objective – getting you the best, most profitable toss ever.

One thing we’ve noticed in recent years is that some of you are coming into the classes lacking or in need of a refresher on some of the craps basics, so we start out by making sure every attendee has a copy of Heavy’s Axis Power Craps Seminar on DVD to review in advance of the class as part of the deal.

Once we’re sure everyone is up to speed and on the same page on the basics the agenda will look something like this:

Correct Table Positions – stick left isn’t the only spot in town!
Correct Dice Sets and how to get there quickly!
Correct Grip for you based on the physical shape of your hand.
Correct Toss for you – depending on your physical stature and ability.
Focus, Breath Control, and Landing Zone
Visualization and the Mental Edge
Basic Betting Strategies for Advantage Crapsters

Each attendee will receive a one-on-one toss analysis and a written toss improvement plan. But don’t just come out for the personal toss instruction. You’ll learn even more by watching Heavy and Nate coach the other attendees. Of course, if you DO get bored you can always hit the dealer school’s third table for an “open” practice session. That’s right – the school we use in the Biloxi market has three full sized craps tables so you’ll have plenty of time to work on your throw before heading to the casinos.

Once everyone’s toss is up to speed, we’ll spend the afternoon delving into advanced techniques in dice control, including the underhand toss and developing back-up shooting positions. Need some help fine-tuning your game? We’ll cover money management, basic betting strategies for advantage shooters and more as we work toward taking your game to the next level.

But here’s the rub. The majority of the slots available for this class have been filled by students who were originally scheduled in the March 2020 Biloxi class that was cancelled due to the Covid-19 casino shut down in Biloxi. At this point there are only SIX slots available for this class and they will be made available on a First Paid – First Served Basis. No Holds for Payment at the Door. Payment Must be Received Prior to the Seminar.

JUST ADDED! NEW BONETRACKER TRAINING SESSION!

With the addition of DarthN8r to the Biloxi Coaching Team comes the opportunity to pick up additional training on everyone’s favorite craps roll tracking program – BoneTracker. DarthN8r, 22Inside and AlleyOop have made some fantastic “tweaks” to BoneTracker to supercharge your tracking sessions and the latest and greatest version is ready for release.

Join DarthN8r on Friday, September 11th for either the Basic BoneTracker Class or both the Basic AND the Advanced BoneTracker Class.

The basic class will teach you the ins and outs of BoneTracker, how to track your toss, utilize the various tabs and assess the strengths and weaknesses of your results.

The Advanced BoneTracker sessions will require participants to be proficient in Basic Bonetracker skills. They must submit a book of their latest 720 practice rolls a minimum of 2 weeks in advance of the class. All rolls should be completed using the same set and that set must be detailed with the submitted rolls in standard format. For example, the standard “Heavy” version of the V-3 is 3-3 6-2 with the top numbers listed first and the facing numbers listed second. The Advanced Class will offer an analysis of your book(s) of tosses, optimization of your primary and secondary sets and an assessment of Set Transpositions to prepare for better casino performances.

These sessions are priced at $299 each – or sign on for both at $549. We’ll have a basic and advanced session Friday morning and another basic and advanced session on Friday afternoon.

As always, your tuition covers the cost of the seminar itself and all hand-out material. Attendees are on their own for transportation, meals, and accommodations. Remember, these events are intended to be instructional – educational weekends. While many players walk away from these events winners – there is no guarantee that you will win at any casino session. It’s still gambling and you could lose. Don’t gamble with money you cannot afford to lose.

  • Dice Control, Visualization and Imagery

Through the years I’ve written extensively on the mental aspects of craps and precision shooting. Of all the preparation routines precision shooters employ, none, in my opinion, is more powerful than visualization, or guided imagery.
