7 Heavy System

Let me 1st say that I did not come up with this system . In the late 90's I was looking at a catalog from the Gambler Book Store and saw a book 7 Heavy Don't System (professional grind). At the time I had been playing craps for 3 or 4 yrs with up and down results. I play pass line and come bets, place bets, 22 inside (1 hit and down) and any other system I saw on the internet. The best way I find before switching to the Don't was 3 point Molly (passline and 2 Come bets) with odds always working. I would start with double odds and when a bet hit would go up 1 unit on the odds until I had all at 4 x odds then bring them all back down to double odds. If I seven out would start over.

After reading 7 Heavy started playing it at some of the $3 tables in Tunica at the 100 unit level. The guy who wrote the book said you 10 x one session to play this system. 1st time I played it won some money and was feeling good about playing the Don't. But did not have the 10 x per session in my bankroll. Then saw Mad Professor article on Pittsburgh Johnny and liked the system it was a 9 step neg pro instead of a 6/7 with 7 Heavy. The one thing I did like about Pitt. Johnny was the drawdown of 1013 units ever at $1.00 level that will sting a little when you lose. Plus you get nothing from casinos when you betting $5 on the passline and $6 on the Don't and working your way up on a neg pro. Around 2004 started back playing 7 Heavy because drawdown 100 or 138 units per loss. All in all have been very happy with the results using 7 Heavy. Sorry about this long post but just wanted to give yall a little insight of my history with Pittsburgh Johnny and 7 Heavy. So here you go. I am looking for one win per shooter.

100 unit

1st step - 1 unit (if a 2 or 3 rolls this is the only time I go back down on the same shooter)
2nd step - 2 units (if win up 1 unit)
3rd step - no bet at this level. Wait for shooter to roll anything but a 7. If a 2 3 11 or 12 rolls go to step 4. If shooter makes a point go to step 4. If he 7 out start over with next shooter.
4th step - 5 units (if win up 2 units)
5th step - 12 units (if win up 4 units)
6th step - 25 units (if win up 5 units)
7th step - 55 units (if win up 10 units)

With this one the more they make you sweat the more you get paid.

138 unit
1st step - 1 unit
2nd step - 2 unit
3rd step - no bet
4th step - 9 unit
5th step - 18 unit
6th step - 36 unit
7th step - 72 unit

If I take a session loss I chill out for a hour before returning to the tables.
My daily win goal is $600 playing the 138 @ $10 level. But will quit if I get close to $600 don't want to risk 138 units trying to win $25 or $30. So there it is enjoy.

Tonfau,
Thanks for posting this system. It looks like you've used this for a long time, do you play regularly? Has this system stood the test of time? On step 3 you wrote start over with next shooter. Does that mean start at step1, or step 4? I would imagine that with 7 steps you get knocked off a fair amount. How long does it take to recoup?

Hey guys,

Sorry for the typeos but did that on my phone. It is a rainy night here in Alabama and the wife and I took our mothers out for dinner and shopping. Typed that sitting here in the mall. You know have to keep the wife happy so I can do those solo trips to Tunica, Biloxi, Pearl River & Vegas. Plus, have to keep Mother and MIL happy to stay in the Wills so I will have money to play. Lol!! But if I dont got them out of this mall soon will be no money left.

If shooter 7 out @ 3rd level take a 3 unit lose and start over with next shooter. I play 4 to 8 days per month.

This is an interesting don't pass style. I wonder how it fares against the Mad Prof's short leash play. As I recall that involved only playing at tables which were cold/cool/choppy. And I do recall a couple of cats who swore by star/sure win for betting the don't, hey hey.

Hey DF,

You and all the slot machines in Tunica would love for Sonya to do a solo trip with my bankroll. Lol!! Between Slots and outlet mall would be gone in the blink of the eye. I have no set time to play but $600.00 daily win goal. If I take a session loss will play to recoup some of the money. I play free slot play, pomo chips & free table play alone the way. I do get some free slot play because when Sonya comes with me she plays on my card. I run it thur one time then cash out. Let me tell you what happen to me last week had $70 in free table play at Harrahs that had to be cash by end of month. Took to cage and was told out of table play can give you slot play did not like it but said ok, hit for $175.00 got hell out of dodge.

I played the 7 step (138 unit) today with a doey/don't $1 units. $15 on the PL and $16 on the dp. I woulda got knocked off, but I made it an eight step and won. It was scary even with $1 units. My final bet was $200 DP, no PL, shooter set the point of 4, so I bet $25 on hard 4. He sevened out, and I won. I wasn't gonna add that 8th step, but I could see the shooter was distracted and he was having a beef with management, so I put it out at the last second.

Not sure how you got up to $200 playing $1 units. On the 8th step should have been $144.

Ah, the "eff-it" bet. Sometimes known as the "what the hell" bet. Also known as a "one-shot-get-back bet." Been there - done that. Did not have much fun.

Went to to the $1 table in Henderson this morning. Not my day

Only about four or five winners A lot of come out winner then point made and then seven out on the no bet.(first three shooters all made the point)

Only one shooter made three passes then seven out +$9. minus $15 after an hour.

My turn to shoot I have my dollar on the don't.

I set sixes on top, fives facing, roll a seven geez!, now $2 on the don't roll an eight $32 inside (one hit and down), roll 10, 4,4,11,10,2,8 geez!

Now I have $4 don't (broke rule here) roll 2 (winner)

Now $1 don't (broke one win per shooter rule), the point is 5 inside for $34, point seven

I am done for today I never got up but I did get out -$45

I can see why they call this a grind.

Best Alan

Yeah, I've had those days. One of the things I really hate is losing my first bet on a table. Winning that first bet seems to build a lot of confidence. Losing the first one is just the opposite. I didn't like using a shovel (mucking out the barn) while growing up - and I don't like using one (digging out of a whole I've made for myself) since I'm grown.

When in doubt - follow the trend instead of trying to buck the trend. Just my opinion but I'm stickin' to it.

Unless there is a small town somewhere between here and Mississippi called Doubt, Louisiana. But I doubt that there is.

i've been playing the heavy7 on the randies for $1 using the doey/don't. When I get screwed by the twelve, I lay odds progressively till I get it back. So far I've gotten knocked off twice, but I believe I am ahead.
