dont pass with come bets

i have had some success in the past playing $5 dont pass with $30 layed odds and start making $5 come bets with $10 odds as they travel to the number. at cherokee with odds at 10x you can increase your lay odds as you fill up box numbers to cover the 7-out or just leave it $30 lay odds and let it play out. has anyone played this way before and had any success? i have also played $5 dollar dont pass with $30 lay odds and place bet $32-$34 inside. i would appreciate comments thanks. advdel77
