Success on Casino Cruise Boats?

Living in Florida - Land of No Craps on Land; I have been on a few too many Casino Cruises to get my Craps-Fix and get practice on a Full Sized table.

I have NEVER noticed anyone having moderate consistent success throwing the Dice on these Boat Cruises. I have met a couple of DI's in the past couple of years on the Casino Boats but they also don't have success on the boats. From in depth conversations I have had with them and judging by their exquisite form throwing the Dice; they have good success on regular land casinos but for some reason; consistent success is quite fleeting on these 4 hour Casino Cruises.

It's so bad on these boats that anyone hitting 4 consecutive Points or even having a 20 minute hand is considered to have had a "MONSTER" roll.

Does anyone on the forum have consistent success playing Craps on Casino Boats?

Please Advise,

CrapsForever

;) UNHH!!The incipient motion, how ever gentle, may be enough to have a negative effect on the shooter's toss

HI Crapsforever,

Where in Florida do you live?

I live in the Ft Lauderdale area.

A gambling ship is supposed to be coming to Palm Beach soon.

"The Black Diamond"

I used to go on the Sun Cruz, Sea Escape and St Tropez (got banned from that one...too many good rolls and they were sweating the money)

Salutations Howard rock n roller,

I live in the Fort Lauderdale area also.

The "Black Diamond" Casino Cruise out of West Palm Beach is supposed to open by the end of October. If it does open; I'll finally have a place relatively close to me to get to practice throwing Dice on a full table on a more consistent basis.

Nice to know another forum member lives in the neighborhood.

Please check your PM in a few minutes.

The closest casinos to me are riverboat cruises. I lived in the Fort Myers/Cape Coral area for about 13 years and have used the "Big M" and "Sun Cruz" riverboat cruises now closer to me in Myrtle Beach SC. It will get you the fix, but i am not a fan of their conditions in general.

Big M: Generally good tables but since it is a limited time frame that you're out cruising, the dealers openly tell you to hurry because THEY get paid per roll. That wouldn't fly anywhere but a riverboat cruise. Other than that the dealers are great. The water does get choppy and can definitely make an impact of play.

Sun Cruz: Great looking boat and casino on the inside, but one of the bounciest tables that I have ever seen. I wont play on it even though I like their casino. I'm not exaggerating when I say that maybe 6 out of 10 rolls are "no rolls" due to the dice bouncing off the tables. They suggest you toss it very very low, but at a good speed :)

Diamond Casino: Horrible dealer attitudes. They dont even like randies setting the dice. I shoot from stick right and they wouldnt open the right side of the table. Every employee that I met seemed burnt out and unhappy.

Princess (I think that was their name in Savannah Georgia) We drove all the way here from Myrtle Beach after the terrible experience on the Diamond and had the best riverboat experience of anywhere. The water was flat, the table was nice and the dealers were personable and didn"t mind us setting the dice.

I live as far west as you can get in North Carolina, so it is a 5 hour "trip" just to get to Myrtle Beach, so its not very convenient.

Salutations Amish Dude,

Boyton Beach is about 30 minutes away from the Port of West Palm Beach. The contact # for the Black Diamonds Casino Cruise that is supposed to be based out of there is 561-845-2599. The boat is supposed to open up by the end of October. Another way to check for their availability is to check online at bdcasinoship.com.

Good Luck!

Hi CrapsForever,

I'm finally back from Vegas .. saw a lot of old friends out there and had a great time. Wish I could have come in a couple of days earlier to say hello to my old friend Heavy. I look forward to that another time soon.

My old group had their 10th anniversay party..I brought my Tux and everything but no invitation :(
...I heard through the grapevine that they had a slide presentation of their history through the years... and I was in at least 10 of the slides... I'm glad that I'm still remembered and appreciated.

Yesterday, I was home praticing on my table with Joe Sotts ( good therapy for him..he still recovering from a stroke)...and I'm glad that you came over to toss the dice a bit and get to know each other. We had a good time and I'm glad to know that there are others passionate about infuencing the dice in the South Florida area.

See you again soon,

Howard rock n roller

Howard,

It was great meeting you and Joe yesterday. It's very exciting to meet a LEGEND in the game of Craps who is very passionate about the game.

Our paths will definitely cross each other again in the near future and I look forward to it.

Best Regards,

CrapsForever

Now there is a concept. Unfortunately, 80% of the guys who frequent the forum have never - and will never - jump on the Don'ts.

heavy-we can't worry about the 80% of players, who won't get on the bus. if 100% of player's would listen to you-and bet the dark side, then the casinos would switch over to machines. their won't be any more players like heavy and the mad professer. we all would be looking for ways to beat those machines. what do you think. jaime. from. sunny puerto rico. :) :) :) .

Has anyone been to Victory Casino Cruises out of Port Canaveral? If so, what is the condition of their table?
