$300/day

Setting and influencing the dice roll is just part of the picture. To beat the dice you have to know how to bet the dice. Whether you call it a "system," a "strategy," or just a way to play - this is the place to discuss it.

$300/day

A concept my father and I have been playing with is the fact that Las Vegas has 122 reported casinos.
If you could consistently find a way to make $100 per casino and leave. Doesn't matter if it's a single bet
or if you make it with nickels.

$300/day x 7 days = $2,100/week
$2100 x 52 weeks = $109,200 annually.

Now obviously, most people would not do this 7 days a week and not all 122 casino's would be viable, so work with the concept more than anything.

Take these 122 casinos and go to a max of 3 casinos per day with a max goal of winning $100 per casino.
You could go roughly 40 whole days without a repeat visit to any given casino. Our thought is that by keeping
the winnings small and over a period of time that we would stay under the radar.

What betting strategy would you use to (consistently as possible) make $100 and leave?

I'd love it if you would chip in with ideas - even if they seems off the wall or unusual.

Hmmm...
Develop a consistent ability to throw 10-number hands, bet the iron cross.
On moderately good hands you will make $100 fast. I you'll still stay under the radar even if you win $250.

Hi IronCross,

If this helps you; there are approximately 90 craps-available casinos in the immediate Vegas area.

Is there a list of these casinos? I tried searching the NVGC a few days ago and couldn't find a list (other than this http://www.gaming.nv.gov/modules/showdo ... entid=3440 which just lists every license)

Thanks. I had seen that before but was looking for an "official" list from the state. I figured they would need to know about all the tables..legal that is..

About twenty of which have tables which I would consider readily exploitable. Assuming, of course, that you have optimal playing conditions. Now, if you decided to play in DI prime time - mostly mid-week - mostly during the "off" hours - you could probably put together a schedule that would allow you to play the entire month without hitting the same casino twice.

C'mon guys, I know you can do better than that. How about crazy stuff like Martingale'ing the Field. Throw some stuff out there.

Ah, you're looking for betting strategies. Okay, here you go. A guy I know who used to live in Vegas played this particular strategy every day, looking to lock up a $375 win.

$25 Don't Pass
$3 Hop sevens

If the sevens hit he parlayed it to $15 Hopping Sevens and replace the DP bet.

If he score the second hit he parlayed it to $75 Hopping Sevens with no DP bet.

He was looking for one shooter a day to toss three come-out sevens in a row. If that never happened he still had a good chance of beating the game on variance with the DP.

How about the 3 press and down?

You bet the inside numbers, and for 3 tosses, you press whatever hits.
It's Press, Press, Press, Collect and Down.

Or collect and regress to table minimum and go from there if the roll continues.

Granted, I've heard that no betting strategy will overcome the HA; only a proper toss will.
Even with the proper toss, bad bets will make you lose--heard that too.

Just about anything will work in the short run--heard that as well and it's true!! So do explore and keep the game fun!! :) :)

On any given day, qualifying shooters and waiting until they toss a few numbers will save you from the PSOs.
On any given day, qualifying shooters and waiting until they toss a few numbers may also keep you from taking advantage of good numbers thrown before their short roll ends.

Nothing is guaranteed. But fun can still be had and profits can still be made, right? :D

C'mon, let's hear more strategies!!

Probably the easiest way to win $300 a day is to practice tossing sevens until you're damn good at it - then walk up to the table and make a $300 PL bet. Toss the seven, collect your winnings and leave. Now, if you're good at tossing elevens then play $200 on the Pass Line and $100 on the YO. OR play a $10 Midnight and toss a 12. All sorts of ways to get there . . .

Heavy did you mention that someone did a passline bet and a bet on the 11 and one roll and he left? Well the least amont of time you are there can be somewhat of a advantage, if, as you say they hit the 7s and leave.

Ironcross,

If you have the time I would go to a craps table, wait until it is very hot or cold, take advantage of the trend and walk with the $100 win. You might spend 2 hours waiting for it to happen.

Yeah, I've seen this guy a couple of times. Sort of an old Elvis look-alike. Walks up to the table and buys in for $200. Plays $100 on the line and $100 YO. Sets and shoots for the eleven. Both of the times I saw him he hit the Yo, collected his winnings, passed the dice and left.

This happened back in 2000. I played the Don't Pass. This is how I got my name.

One day I asked my friends Howard and Larry, " Do you think you could make just $5 a day. Every day" Howard said, "sure". So that month my goal was to see if I could just make $5 a day and then quit. After winning 20 times in a row, I had a $100. For me that was a lot. Then on the 21st day I lost the whole $100 trying to win that $5 for that day. It pissed me off. But anyway that's how I got the nick name of $5Bill.

Could you win $300 Every Day? I don't think so.

@$5 bill - I hope that did not come off the wrong way. I concede that almost everyone on this board knows this game better than I do.
I definitely agree that we all have/will have bad days and it's not realistic to win 100% of the time. I do think that with money management,
a plan and a positive attitude it can get you close IMHO.
