Finding the one

Setting and influencing the dice roll is just part of the picture. To beat the dice you have to know how to bet the dice. Whether you call it a "system," a "strategy," or just a way to play - this is the place to discuss it.

Finding the one

Post by Operator » Sun Jul 17, 2016 11:50 am

Hey guys just going to post my practice results here wife tosses old pieces of paper away. Any who heres the deal I look at the old thread about lumber jack mike. So I thought lets run a few systems on this lets compare it against a wong straight up flat place bet. Now old results show the number 6 to be the allways in between number for me here is a fresh bacth of number v3 set 5/1 faceing.Crapless craps table its all I have to play on.

c0 4 8e 5 9 5 10h 6 5 6 10 9 6h 5 5 6 6 5 10h 9 7

co 2 6 6h 9 9 10 5 11 11 5 7

co 3 3 co 94 10 8h 10h 8 6h 11 7

co 7 co 7 co 8h 9 9 10 9 6 5 6h 9 11 10 10h 9 3 9 7

co 8 8 co 3 7

co 7 co12 10h 4h 5 5 6 6 4h 6h 8h 7

While these numbers do not inpress i made money either way.

Sorry I forgot to total it up ill go ahead and throwout the math to show where we go it keeps peoples eyes from glazing over happens every time you see long strangs of numbers. Using a simple 90 dollar 6 regressed down to 54 regressed down to 24 left up to the end of the hand lumber jack mike made 626.
A flat wong 90 dollar 6 made 915 It will be interesting to see what the draw down will be and the high point. Operator what about working on the come out I may rerun the numbers but I feel like you can only hold back a seven for so long and when it wonts to hit it hits all at once just my thoughts that sevens clump together.

You're going to have to refresh our minds on the lumberjack mike play. I'm drawing a blank.

lumber jack mike is an old story told by mp about a guy who was a carpenter who wore a red and black flannel shirth hence the name any who he bet only on one number on each of di their main sig number which he regressed 3 times lets say 120 six 60 dollar 6 30 dollar six let it stay up till it dies.It could be another number just the one you throw the most often even on shorth hands he talks about it in the clandestine clocks of the hand deal thread. Ill post more numbers later.

Ok how does this stand up to some pretty bad shooting lets see the first session was great but the second session turned to hell but still with in torence.

rember a crapless table

co 3 7 ouch

co 7co 5 6 4 6 10h 8 7

co 6 7 ouch again

co6 9 8 4 9 9 10 9 6 co 9 7

co 9 11 8 3 9 co 12 5 5 5 9 7

ok lumber jack lost 165
wong lost 225

This would have ended my stay as this would in all likely hood been the most I could have shot in one day at my casino. I still think things could have been worse 200 is not much of a draw down. Just to remind same set used threw out all shots no come out sets used. See you guys next weekend.

Wish today at the casino that I would have used this instead of my regular bets any who came back home and shot some practice tosses heres what I ended up with and boy did it get ugly yet I would have been a small winner if I would have stay on the wong side betting.
c0 10 4h 8 6 11 9 8h 6h 7

co 6h 4 8h 5 2 5 5 5 6h co 10 8 8 3 11 7

co 8h 4 10 7

co 3 4 4 4h 7

co5 9 5 co 10 7

c0 8 8 co 4 9 2 5 3 6 7

co 6 8 5 8 7

co4h 7
c0 2 7
co8 5 9 6 9 8 co8 3 3 11 6 6h 8 co8 12 11 4 9 6 69 6h 3 7
ok heres the money break down flat wong up 210. lumberjack mike down22 looks like wong maybe right but way to early to tell just yet draw down was close to 540 before coming back up as you will notice I had two points of a 6 twice working on the come out may be something else I track in the future

C0 10h 6 3 10 co 5 8 6h 9 8 4 3 4 6 10h 7
co 4 5 6 2 12 7
co 9 8 7
co 11 7
co7 co 6 8 7
Co 8 9 8 co 8 8h co 4h 2 6 6 10 3 5 4 co 4 11 5 8h 9 6 10 8 10 11 8 6 3 7
co 3 7
co5 7
co 11 4 4 6 5 6 9 9 4 7
co9 5 8h 4 10h 8 9 co 10h 6 6 7
co 11 11 co 11 11 co 5 10 9 8 7.
ok now for the math flat wong up 165. Lumber jack mike up 168.
Yes the 4 11 back to back was funny oddietys happen ever now and then. While any win is better then any lost I don't think many would play this way while one hand containing 3 hits are real nice most hands may not hold much in enterainment value.
The question comes to mind how many more trails are needed to approach random results 60 hands? How many hands to redouble bank roll?As you can see were gaining but god its slow. You can also track the all tall small deal its a pretty bad bet boys yes ive hit it a few times but look at how many times you toss the dice. Same unforulay goes for hard 6&8 back to back yes theres a few in there but not enough. I do like this thread though. But heres a question how many more rolls 720 or how many more hands to prove or disprove advantage or not?

The math guys always want millions of rolls. I think around 3600 is enough. Won used to sat the larger your advantage the smaller sample needed. I feel just the opposite. I'd recommend 10 books of 720.

Problem with those one number systems (and I like them) is sometimes the one number changes in the middle of a hand. First 15 rolls the one number is "X" - then the next 12 rolls it's "Y" - then the next 17 rolls its some trash number you don't even bet. Look at all of the fives on your first two hands above. Now where'd they go on the second two hands? They went away when the sixes showed up.

Yup they do take a break and go on vacation at totally the wrong time.I played this thing out at tunica years ago a 120 6 that's all I bet I smoked the 8 the first hand dealer kept rubbing the felt on the 8 any who most I could get up at a session was 420 But I never incurred a ass whooping lost either.

Ive just about had it with the all bet ive tracked my losses on it and its not goodyes my heart was racing with only a 2 some times a 3 to go but close only counts in horseshoes . Ill head back up north west in two weeks and give her a ago then heres my tosses for the day a loss but only a few bucks.
co7 co 4 7
co89 11 9 9 6 7
co 6 8 5 12 6 co 3 co5 5 co6 7
co7 co5 6 8 9 12 10 6 3 7
co 6 4h 5 7
nope not good while were on the subject I missed only one oppurtity last night one di kept throwing only one hard four each time he had the dice I watched him do this twice I should have bet his third hand oh well,

ok kind of a trip report throwm in started at old casino played only six got bored after three hands went back to old style betting down 300 .Jump back in the game 2 hours later betting old style bam up 900.Wish it had been myshooting but oh well. Played ms stud dropped 100. Got up next morning and went to st louis .Why I did this was I'm kind of tired of the same old casino. Lesson learned today dance with the one that brought you.
Back to the ungodly river city but hey the do have the best buffet at a casino ive ever been to.
Down 200 tried ms stud there the cards didn't come my way at all yes I did play it correctly nothing came my way and when it did no community cards.
Wife done horrible at slots my fault ive taken her out in a new casino she doesn't know which machines to play. ok leave there damage not to bad.

This is where the brain fart comes in as we cross the river she says lets try lumeire while were here cause were never coming back. This was the worst decision ever.Lumiere owned by trop open in the heart or well any who . Walked in what is that smell ok off to the tables nothing changed here table has a bouce that could send a rocket to the moon not kidding here.Drop 200 more ok I find the wife and nope she busted out oh well.
All in all theres no place like home I'm sticking with my home casino no need to travel .When Evansville opens up the new one ill go visit that's all.

As for the one number betting deal its more boreing then a 6&8 one hit down strategy.
