I usually use the simple series for cold/choppy tables, with three levels of bets would look like: 1-2-4 8-16-16 32-64-128 Notice the last bet on sequence 2 is another 16. If I win that then I have offset the previous 16 and come back with another 16. If I lose bet 6 (which I have never done) it would go to 32, to offset the previous two 16s, the next bet after that win would drop me down to 16. If I win that, I would then go back to 1.

If I feel the table is warm/hot I will do: 1 2 3 5 8 13 21 34 55

You would need a bankroll to stomach this. Any win, no matter a 7 out or a 2/3 would reset the sequence. Any loss whether it be from a repeat number or a 7/11 moves me up the series.

Now when I am shooting, I love the 2-1-2 series (especially on place bets). GO 2-1-2-4-8-8-16-32.

hello all'
new to the forum figured i'd post here because i'm usually a darkside player
I would appreciate help from anyone who can get the wincraps sim to work
a simple DP +1 on a loss and -1 (D'Alembert) on a win stay at 1u base bet (wincraps takes me to 0 and essentially stops my play) 3000 rolls? and something else I've been playing with is 20 DP and place 22 inside (or 16,17 depending on pt.) 3 hits and down then place the pt. for 15/18 ---greatly appreciated if anyone takes a few minutes to test these-- this game CAN provide decent consistent income with patience--- 10$ game I like to play DP and 2 DC limit 3 bets pershooter if winning 2/3 or 3/3 go to 15$ most nights can grab 200-300$ and WALK

Hi Heavy, Arrgy or anyone using this system - Please help.

Arrgy is using 1-2-4 8-16-16 32-64-128 on DC for 3 bets on 3 different shooters. His opinion is 3 different shooters will not hit his 3 DC bets. So first shooter he plays 123, with second shooter 8 16 16 and 3rd shooter 32 64 128.

Let's say 1st shooter took all 3 bets, so he is down 7 units.

He now goes 8 on DC, but shooter goes PSO.

Now, my question is, what will be the next bet with new shooter?

Thanks.

Lots of good info on this thread, which is why I'm bumping it. Take it from the first post and plow all the way through it - then feel free to comment.

Loss on the DC whether to PSO, Yo-Eleven, or a DC point-repeater (knock-off) is a loss just the same, so you go to the next number in the progression.

I have noticed that there are a lot more Dont players at the tables now than there used to be.

Also , there is not much , if any animosity toward Dont Players as there used to be.

This may be due to the game not attracting new players like it once did and maybe the old players realize "What comes around , goes around" in life.

The answer, in dollars, for that progression is about $9000 dollars. Correct me if I'm wrong. I'm thinking if you add DI to your game, again at minimal table populations, using a step ladder progression (D' Alembert), with $25 units, you would only need about $1500, if that. Marty is such a dangerous move, no matter the previous success!

I like playing a modified Marty on the don't. I only go 3 steps in a given session and I don't count sevens or elevens. If that session ends up being a loser I go to a higher 3 steps the next trip and continue doing that until recoup back to even.

Example. I've been playing this recently at the joint in Altoona. I start with $5.00 DP and double odds. If that loses I go to $5.00 DP with $30.00 odds no matter what the point is. If that loses I go to $5.00 DP with max odds (it's a 10X game). So far in 3 trips I haven't lost the third bet and have booked several small wins. My bankroll has been $500.00 for this experiment as it's still in the lets see how it works stage.

We plan on going tonight, so I'll start doing trip reports.

DF:
Comparing the casinos where I play to the ones generating your comments above:
Never have been more than one or two Don't players max at the tables.

Like you, I'm also seeing less dislike for Don't play. Do players generally have also made a few bucks before I get mine. Then at the other end of the table, they are mostly oblivious to what a Don't player is doing on his end.
I play Ohio primarily. When I played Horseshoe in Tunica last October the same observations did apply for the single table(profitable) that I played for the one night.
Also, I'm sure the same for you, Don't players get questions from good veteran Do players. like "What does that get you?"etc

BobbyL,

Another statement that I have heard a lot is---{I know that you win all the time playing the Dont Pass . I just can not do it because I do not want to play with the House.}

Heck , if you can win all the time playing the Dont , who the heck cares about who you might be playing against?????? I tell them that if I were winning all the time , I would never leave the table or at least play an 8 hour work day --40 hours a week.

It`s funny that some players think that Darkside players are playing with the Casino.

The darkside is not as lonely a place as it once was.

I know Heavy and Golfer and others like to switch from the do`s to the Dont`s and back due to table trend (or temperature). I tried that and I found that for me it is better just to stick to one side of the table win or lose.

My goal is to try and keep from losing a lot and just win a little-----really right now , with my slowing down due to age, just to break even is fine. Breaking even in a casino is always fine and nothing to be ashamed about.

Last night was the first night someone made 3 pass line points since I started playing my don't progression at Altoona. After that nobody made a second pass in over 2 hours of play and I was able to grind back to a $100.00 win and $5.00 for the dealers without increasing my bets. That included the one time I tossed myself from the do's and promptly had a both die off axis PSO.

I know it's just variance but the vast majority of seven outs were 6/1's last night.

I should have gotten a little more aggressive with my second pass bets considering what the table was doing but I decided to stick to the plan and see what happened.

The better half changed our Valentines plans from Jumers to Council Bluffs so she could get a free purse. The Shoe there is usually terrible playing conditions for DI since they never open enough tables. I'll most likely be playing my don't progression there and I plan on trying it on the Organic craps machine at Harrah's.

Ah, the power of a free purse. I find the tables at the Horseshoe Council Bluffs a little tall for my comfort level, but I have hit the Fire bet there a couple of times - both while shooting from straight out. I've yet to visit the Harrah's property there when they had the tables open - as I recall they don't open them until 11AM and I prefer to play earlier in the day. It's been awhile since I've been to the Ameristar there but I suspect that might be the best dark-sider casino in the market. Last time I was there the tables were so bouncy that I considered them unplayable. The Shoe really does have the best tables in that market as far as I can see. I always enjoy my visits to that market.

Hi Heavy: You're right the craps table at Harrah's Council Bluffs doesn't open until 10 am. I like the tables at the Shoe but it's hard to find the conditions where you can get the dice in your hands more than once an hour.

I haven't played craps as the star for years as I usually play DD blackjack there. I'll give it a try this trip and report back. A don't progression should work well on a random number generator table.

Council Bluffs is a darksiders dream on Friday nights. All the tables were packed and I only saw one person toss 3 pass line points all night and I decided to lay off of him after the second point. I took a spot I normally don't toss from on purpose so I wouldn't have a moment of weakness and try to toss myself. Ground out a small win since my don't strategy is still in it's infancy and betting was small. The better half lost more on slots in her free purse celebration than I made on craps so the trip was a net loser.

Heavy was right, the tables at the Horseshoe have a higher rail than normal and the small alligator bumps. Didn't play at Harrahs this trip. The table was packed and most had brought their posse along to watch. It was 2 deep around the table all night.

Saturday morning played for a while at Ameristar. Decent 14' table but, the table that was open must have something corrugated under the layout. You could see lines in the felt spaced like corrugation in a cardboard box but I couldn't feel any obvious ridges. The 2 closed tables were not that way. All 3 tables had a very worn layout. I liked the bounce on the table I was on but their layout has the pass line so close to the rail that there is only 4 inches of open space between bets and the back wall. I tossed twice. Rolled in the twenties and made the small (I wasn't on the ATS) the first time. PSO the second try. Better half was still bleeding like a stuck pig on the slots and multiple people were betting in my preferred landing spot, so we decided to call it a trip.

There was a lady at the Horseshoe Friday night from one of the other dice camps. She was in her 70's and had one lens of her glasses completely blurred out so she could aim with her dominate eye. She'd carefully set the dice and then shake them in her hand for 10 seconds before launching them sidearm style like that baseball pitcher called the Goose. She hit the "no roll, dice in the bowl" bonus one time.

What is the no roll dice in the bowl bonus?

Just joking. One of the die from her toss ended up in the bowl one time. As a bonus she got to roll again.

LOL. I like that one. It is fun to see newbies freak when that happens. One time after a show at the Venetian in Vegas let out, a bunch of newbies joined my table. Soon a cute hottie tossed the dice and one landed on top of all the chips in front of the box. The die showed a number, that with the die on the table made her point. When it was called no roll they all freaked out. I had a large don't bet with odds and just stood there smiling to myself. When it finally calmed down, just before the dice were sent to her for her "do-over" I slipped the stick 3 $5 chip and said "turn the reds". I couldn't hide my smile when the ugly came and I got paid on my bets with the hoppers.
