Buffalo Crap? really?

I just finished reading Heavy's Labor Day Weekend Newsletter and the article "Hops, Props, and Side Bets". It's nice to see humor in many of the bets on the table. My question relates to the All Tall Small bet. I set for sevens on the come out and will often hit several as well as some cra...

Re: Looking for 7's on the comeout?

Inspector, ditto.

I set for sevens and use a World that I keep pressing (one unit at a time) and collecting on until my point is established.

Re: Do you have a "guilty pleasure" bet?

I've been trying to ween myself off of it. It hasn't been paying off as of late. When I am shooting on the come-out I like a $5 World. I had been managing to toss several 7s mixed with multiple crap numbers before the point. I would press the World conservatively only $5 on each hit. Hitting Boxcars...

Re: MGM Resorts International vs Caesars Entertainment

Platinum level at MGM is a high roller level. Platinum level at CET is a low roller level. Thanks Dylanfreake. I thought for a moment you were going to say " The answer my friend, is blowin' in the wind. The answer is blowin' in the wind..." I didn't realize the Platinum levels were signi...

Re: MGM Resorts International vs Caesars Entertainment

For the 15 to 1 vs 16 to 1 question, make sure you pay attention as to whether the payouts are listed as "x to 1" or "x for 1" 16 for 1 (they give you 16 in exchange FOR your 1) is the same as 15 to 1 (they give you 15 in addition TO your 1) Thanks Wudged. Next time I'm in town ...

Re: How much is you gambling budget for your next trip to Ve

I wanted to ask YOU guys is how much YOU pack to Vegas for a weekender - say four days and three nights - and how you apportion it for your sessions. Hi Heavy. Good question. I'll budget about $3K for the entire trip. I budget $200 for blackjack/slots/roulette the first night, but only to wind down...

MGM Resorts International vs Caesars Entertainment

1) Why is the Mlife comp program much more generous than Caesars' Total Rewards? I seem to get better offers (3nts/$200 Resort Credit/Freeplay) from Mlife than I do from Total Rewards (3/4/5 nts comped [select properties], no resort credit, no freeplay). I usually play both with equal action through...

Re: Don't you just love shooting accuracy?

In other words, I used to just do the old Trust-your muscle-memory toss & just try toss to a landing ZONE, but I have come to find (FOR ME) it tends to make me LAZY & just toss with no EXACT purpose. I have to agree. When tossing a lengthy hand, it is difficult to remain focused after a sig...

Session Money and length of trip

The typical rule of thumb in budgeting for a craps excursion is to set a daily bankroll (BR) and then divide the daily BR into the number of sessions you plan to play. When one doesn't live near any casinos that offer live craps play, how long is your average Las Vegas visit? Two nights? Three? If y...

Building a Bankroll

This question goes out to the experts and experienced craps players. The game of craps is a negative expectation game, it has all kinds of variances and most play results are inconsistent (wins & losses). What is the best way to build and manage a bankroll for the long term when the goal is to b...
