I got cocky on a $5 dollar table and didn't cover craps and threw two 3's in a row. lol I don't deviate anymore since I always seem to hit a craps on one of my come outs.

first hit same bet, second hit press it one unit, third hit regress one unit, fourth hit options as to what numbers I or random shooter is hitting, can press same number, place another number etc, fifth hit up and pull time.

Was on a cold table recently. I'm a very conservative player. I played the pass line, after point was established I played a $40 don't come and $32 across. Worked out for a profit for me even with a no six and eight. So I guess i'm playing both sides, or right side with a $40 hedge.
