Re: A guy said something about DI and Betting today . . .
I think betting the optimal way sometimes conflicts with the comfort level of the bettor. BT may confirm influence, but if you are not betting to your advantage then it can undercut your potential profit. For example, the optimal way for you to bet a certain point number is to bet maximum odds behin...

Re: A long table delay... What's the common etiquette?
I would not have had the patience for all that. I would have pulled down my bets, grabbed my chips, and left. Any contract bets I had would be made dealer bets. You did the right thing. I see three choices in the matter. 1) Groan and Moan and increase the negativity at the table while waiting. 2) Wh...

Re: The All, Small or Tall Bet
I consider the ATS more of a entertainment bet. I don't toss any differently. If you hold the dice for a long enough period of time, you sometimes end up hitting it. I usually bet it for $2-$1-$2 on myself, or $1-$1-$1 on known DI's. $5-$5-$5 is too rich for me when it's at risk with those come out ...

Re: The All, Small or Tall Bet
Going another direction - I'm considering STRONGLY encouraging my seminar attendees NOT to bet the ATS during our live casino sessions - but if they MUST bet the ATS to keep the bet sizes at a $5-$5-$5 minimum. Just so happens on my last visit to Vegas (at the beginning of this month) I tossed a mi...

Re: WOTCO or not?
For me, if I'm not playing a game within a game (come out game), I treat that first toss like a mulligan in golf. It gives me a risk-free idea whether my toss is going to work on the table I'm playing. I like to see at least one box number before I put any money at risk.

Re: Your Go To, Money Making, BEST Betting Strategy
WOTCO can be effective. The key is to have triggers in place that manage negative volatility. How many hands per session are you willing to risk at your betting level if you are experiencing streaks of PSO's or less than stellar tossing results? At what point are you willing to accept your losses fo...

Re: Supreme Court Opens Way for States to Legalize Sports Betting
If MS casinos like those in Biloxi start to offer full service sports betting, will they also include pari-mutuel betting on the different horse tracks nationwide (OTB)?

Re: Where's the Dark Side Love ??
Thanks, showing my ignorance. Not sure how I got it mixed up. If that’s the case my test session went well. No worries. We're all here to learn. Heavy, I love that graphic. Probably not a good idea for a group of us to show up at a table all in T-shirts with that graphic on it. I could see those fr...

Re: Where's the Dark Side Love ??
Big O, you should be winning on ComeOut sevens with DC bets unless you are playing the DP. I wait for the shooter to establish their point. I then make 2 consecutive naked DC bets. The only way to lose on the DC is if the shooter tosses a Yo or sevens out. Once the DC travels, you cannot lose it to ...

Re: 100X Odds - Gimmick or Benefit?
The Cromwell was my first experience seeing a Put bet. I couldn't figure out why the dealer was allowing a player to setup his Come bets all in advance.
100x odds. It's a gimmick for most, but a benefit for those with the bankroll to support it.

Re: Where's the Dark Side Love ??
22inside has it. I place only the six or eight during the transition. I'll usually use first hit to place the sister number. I'll then collect on second hit. That $12 rightside bet has to pay for any additional action. I will then build up and out if the hand continues. The rest of the play you got.

Re: Where's the Dark Side Love ??
LS, I'll watch for the trending numbers hitting more frequently than probability expects them. If the shooter has made a point, I'll bet the six or eight and play both sides. If he hasn't made his point, I leave the DC bets up and wait for a decision on those bets before transitioning. Once he knock...

Re: How do YOU handle Crapless Craps?
My favorite table at NYNY was just redone with a crapless layout. However, they added extra padding making it bouncy as hell now. I consider it not playable in light of these recent events. Watching the Vegas crowd step up to play was entertaining. They'd realize it was a different game once they es...

Re: Where's the Dark Side Love ??
I've been starting out on tables playing the DC on unknown shooters. It works pretty well, choppy as expected. I would make 2 consecutive naked DC bets once the point was established. I'd then wait it out. I did not chase. Most of the time I collected on both bets, other times I would break even. Wh...

Re: DC 5 count?
I guess it depends on one's objective. Based on the average length of a craps hand, I would think you'd want your DC bets up there as soon as possible. That seven is right around the corner. The average length of a player’s Craps hand in terms of the number of rolls is about 8.526 83.33% of shooters...

That would come in handy. I had no idea how to press those bets during some of the long hands we endured in Biloxi. Luckily, the dealers helped when they could.

Re: Buy Silver Now....
Silver's troy ounce spot price has been trending downward for the last five years or so from a peak of about $30/ ounce. The high was $50. I held before the peak and on the long slide down. Thanks for the correction, caligula. My recall isn't as good as it used to be. I wanted to post a chart with ...
