5Bill,
in effect you were "Buying" those come bets you put back up, and buy bets are bad bets unless you can have high odds on them. don't remember what the break point is for the odds.

Re: Place Betting the Six and EIGHT
I have had times when I was able to buy from the bettor a bet he wanted to take off the don't and then placed the number so I was a sure winner, only question was how much.

Re: What are the odds?
On #3 you will have bet $2,000 and will have an expected loss of $28.20. (20*100)*.0141. On #1 the numbers will be half of that (10*100)*.0141. On #2 you will have bet $1,667 ((100*.667)*20)+((100*.333) will have an expected loss of $14.10, (10*100)*.0141. Only two thirds of the bets will go to a po...

Re: Prop Plays - What Costs More?
I still stand by my answer as it relates to Randies. Might have a different answer if I am looking at controlled shooter. I not secure the per roll is relevant assuming you have a proper bank roll to support it. After writing the above I retread the question and with you specifying a time fram then ...

Re: Prop Plays - What Costs More?
Easy one, hard ways have a larger house advantage than the, even if the field pays triple on either the 2 or 12. With out looking the numbers up the Hards are a worst bet by two or three times the field.
And that is ignoring the occasional casino that pays triple on both the 2-12.

Re: Dice Doctor Plays
one of The Doctor's Systems that I have played is an attempt to get all six points coved with don't bets and then get a seven out without any of the numbers repeating. Start out with a DP bet. 2,3 roll parlay it, continue the parlay until a point or natural is rolled. if a natural is rolled on the c...

Re: ODDS QUESTION
I finally retread the original question and would think if it is a $5 minimum table you should be able to take $50 odds. I have seen some $5 minimum tables that let me take less that $5 odds and other times have had some casinos say odds have to be at least minimum table. I can't think of many times...

Re: Random Roller Stragegy Testing
I've been playing a pass line continous come bet starting with double odd going up to 10 times odds by pressing hits to triple, five times, eight times and then to repeating ten times. have always been on the plus side from the get go, at the highest was up $3,000 plus at about 4000 rolls. Right now...

Re: What casinos collect the Lay vig AFTER the win?
all the Tunica casinos collect the vig on all the buy bets only on win for the 4-10 and the 2-3-4-10-11-12 where they have a crapless table at $10. on the 5-9 all except SAMs require at $20. SAMs buys the 5-9 at only ten.

Re: Random Roller Stragegy Testing
I understand what you say about short term. however how many of us have played enough at the casino to approximate the long term. I may be an exception, but when I lived in Arkansas my actual casino rolls averaged over 5,000 a year. I don't know what the number would me if I counted the random roller...

Re: Random Roller Stragegy Testing
Yeah, WinCraps also has a couple of different RNG's you can select from. It also allows you to "skew" the results if you wish to adjust the outcome to reflect some measure of dice control. Without a doubt, the best $20 craps testing program out there. For those of you who are unfamiliar w...

don't you have the 1.4+ percent house advantage against you on both bets if you are doing this on a random roller?

seems a waste of effort, Clark. you don't win when you roll the 4/10 but you would win when you roll the seven which is what he wants.

Cheating seen on the table
The thread about How to handle heat and your hand going in front of the stick reminds me of the only time I have seen real cheating at the table. This was at Tunica and happened when Harrahs opened a new casino. It was opening day and all the craps tables were open and fairly full. I knew the pit pe...

The Dice Doctor advocates qualifying a shooter, but does contend that a "cold" table is always only one toss from becoming a "ot" table.

Re: a 3 book experiment
Gold Strike in Tunica had the same deal way back when. I got 5 of them and came out on the 8 that I needed, but couldn't convert it. Still had a good results because I laid all that I had against the 8. If I remember correctly, it was about $480 so I won the $400 minus my required $5 pass line bet. ...
