Setting and influencing the dice roll is just part of the picture. To beat the dice you have to know how to bet the dice. Whether you call it a "system," a "strategy," or just a way to play - this is the place to discuss it.

Hi all, strange question. Has anyone everyone gone to a casino and not played but rather just scoped it out? While I’ve played a bunch at my locals lately, I was thinking today about going sometime (actually a couple times) and just watching as it is so often the same people playing and whilst playing nothing really seems to be different. Was thinking about going as a spectator to get a different view point so I could be better prepared for the next times I go once back from the Vegas seminar.

Maybe this is stupid overthinking but just a thought.

Hell, the casino would probably throw me out as a suspicious character if I just hung around and watched games. I've stood back and watched a few games before - not because I necessarily was trying to learn anything - but because some shooter was tossing a monster hand and there wasn't a position one where I could squeeze in and get a piece of the action. I'm just standing there drooling, wishing someone would get stupid and leave so I could jump into their spot.
