The Hot Hand bonus bet

Setting and influencing the dice roll is just part of the picture. To beat the dice you have to know how to bet the dice. Whether you call it a "system," a "strategy," or just a way to play - this is the place to discuss it.

This is a new bet a variation of the All-TALL SMALL bet in my view on a crapless table.

Wizard Of Odds has done all of the house edge math on these bets

Sizzling 6: 19.8%
Flaming 4: 18.55%
Hot Hand: 18.02%

Well odds are beaten every day. lol I throw the 2,3,11,12 quite often because of the set I use. Of course, very few places have this bet. It's also called "Hard Rockin Dice" at other casinos so maybe I will see it in near future. Sounds fun and has a good return on investment. I win allot on the ATS bet for whatever reason good luck lots of practice or both.
The Wizard of odds is correct in general, but dice are random or influenced depending on the player. Lady luck is a big thing too.
Quote "The following table shows my analysis of the Small and Tall bets, when wins pay 30 to 1. The lower right cell shows a house edge of 18.30%"
That is from the wizard on ATS bets which I win frequently. I lose it too of course.

I only posted the additional information that WoO has on the house edge for the bets. I never said whether one should bet it or not. It is still important to have an understanding of house edge on the various bets and to treat these bonus bets for exactly what they say they are: bonus bets. Just don't make them a staple of your betting strategy and limit your bankroll exposure to them and enjoy those bonus payouts when they come.

Like the ATS, I'd play this on myself and other known shooters. Not on randies. It's an interesting variation on what is essentially a flavor of the ATS.

Need a like button...lol
I bet depending on the player sometimes not at all. I bet 5-5-5 on most but if I know a good thrower 10-10-10 or 15-15-15 definitely has paid off more than not. The odds are always against us no doubt and I have lost but am up for the year. lol Yea

If they allow dollar bets on the ATS I'll bet 2-1-2 on just about anyone. I always bet at least 5-5-5 on known DI's. Typically I bet at LEAST that much on myself. Often, if I feel I'm "on" I'll play 10-5-10. I've played 10-5-10 on 220 inside, Bankerdude, DarthNater, and Parson. But I limit that sort of action to guys I play with regularly and often and who I know for a fact can hit one side or the other or both. On the flip side, I have a gal pal who is predominately a slot player. She does play craps, though, but she plays it like a slot player. She makes a $25 Pass Line bet with $25 or $30 odds and bets 25-25-25 on every player, then sits back and drinks a drink and smokes a cigarette, waiting for a jackpot to hit - just like she plays slots. And yeah, she's patient and about once a day she'll jackpot.

How much to bet??? I gave it allot of thought. If you play a 25 table your ATS bet should be 10-10-10 on known rollers its equal to one place bet but the return is much greater a good roller/dice influencer will hit at least the ALL TALL or ALL SMALL making a generous $300 for bettor. I read the other day play 1-1-1 on dealers to help them flip those numbers if they accidently forget the 2 or 12. lol

Heavy and I think alike here. I'll go 10-5-10 on myself and guys like Heavy, Parson, Bankerdude and Nate. On a $25 table, I'll usually do a $30 PL and a $5 crap check. I'll always toss out a 1-1-1 for the dealers when I'm tossing.

By observation :

A greater number of shooters complete neither The SMALL nor THE TALL.

Some number of dice tossers complete one side and do not get the task completed on the other be it THE TALL or the small.

Would it be of greater $ USD return to divide the TOTAL $ USD at RISK
and
only wager the small & TALL without covering THE ALL?

just me pondering

So, if just one side wins with $10 on it you get $300. I only play $10-$10-$10 on known shooters who practice dice influencing. The return on investment is high but I would not play it on every player. Like any time, we judge the situation and play cautiously. Sometimes I don't bet ATS at all if I think the player will big red out quickly. It's all a risk plus your best guess. If one side hits you can justify your bet because the return is huge. If both sides hit which is not often you get a high return on investment. Yes, it's not easy to win this bet but that's why it's a gamble. I have seen it hit 5 times in two hours and the table was hot. One time was the ALL made my day.
