Always Betting on the 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, 10

I always see most players bet on all of the numbers during a session. For now, I typically will only bet on them if a shooter is warming up/has hit at least one point.

Should I bet on all of the numbers? Conversely, I also see them lose a lot of money this way because the table will be trending downward, which most people aren't aware of.

I always play the Don't if that helps.

You basically will have to chart the tables and see which way it is trending. Watch a few hands go by then decide on what you see. But in the long run, you don't have a crystal ball. So go by the math of the game and take variance into consideration. Good luck!

KC: I am guessing you are laying the numbers after the shooter has made his first point. Now, my question is do you lay the number or go thru the DC and then add odds? To me, your post, "betting the numbers" sort of indicates right side betting when"laying the numbers" would indicate dark side betting. If you can post a bit more information, we can surly direct you down a proven path. sia

If you have Wincraps, wargame this ACROSS strategy. If live casino, either on yourself, rhythm roller, qualified shooter or a known DI. Seems to work most of the time in Wincraps and gets you off the table with a decent Profit quickly, IF you can stay away from the dreaded PSO!

You are going for three rolls only, after the point. That is respectable IMO.

AFTER the point is set, say a 5, bet ACROSS $10 - 4,9,&10, $12 - 6&8

OK...next roll is an 8. Take it DOWN, take the $26 payout, add $16, and press $10 - 4,9&10, $12 - 6

OK...next roll is a 4 (let's assume you did buy the 4&10). Take it DOWN, take the $60 payout, add $4, and press $20 - 9&10, $24 - 6

OK...$130 up on your remaining numbers 6,9&10 for the third and final roll. OK...next roll is a 6. Take it ALL DOWN with a $109 Profit.

This is a best case scenario, hitting a payout on every one of your three rolls.

Just stay for three rolls. Whenever you get a hit, take that number DOWN and equally press the remaining bets. If shooter hits the point before three rolls, take any profit off the table and rinse/repeat.

You need a hella good game for across to be profitable. Less so for inside, outside & pairs.
You can transition play to across, but across from start just cost too much, a bad day will hurt you big time.

I like to play 3 numbers and transition to 4-5. There’s almost always one you aren’t hitting ne way.

I've done this on more than one occasion - generally with terrible results. $96 across including the point - put the $4 change on the hardways. $100 action.

In order to turn a profit I have to collect on 5 sixes and/or eights, 5 fives or nines, or a combination of 5 inside numbers . . . or 4 fours and tens. I'm risking $100 for a shot at winning $20 on the next inside hit - or $27 on the four or ten.

This is, IMHO, the definition of madness. Better to play $48 each on the six and eight for one hit. Collect $56 and regress to $24 each. Collect the next hit, then press the following hit to $42 and start running a forward progression. At least that's my opinion.

There's a reason why we used to say a five-to-one regression early on was your best approach. It puts you in a profit position earlier in the hand.

And you guys don't want to lay the point because you bet more to win less . . . meanwhile you're betting $96 across to win $21.

'nuff said.

I like to go 6&8 60$, 9 50$.

Collect first hit, second down to 18$ 6&8 + pass.

It’s been good to me even on short 4-5 rolls hand, turning Into profits.

Would never do it on a randy tho. Or a cold table.
I got back in the game in 1 throw with profits tonight again. Not a big win, but full tables are usually drainy and A win’s a win! Making 130$ profits on a 8 roll hand is my kinda game!

A lil trick too, if you can delay your buy-in until there’s just 4-5 players in line for you to shoot it helps. Don’t do it when you’re 9th in line. You might get smashed before even throwing.

Well..now here's the thing. If I walk up to a table and am watching and a randy is throwing and he/she is hitting inside numbers and the roll exceeds 8 or goes higher I will consider making some right side bets on the next shooter after an inside pt. is established. Probably go $18 6 and 8 at the least. BUT those bets will only stay up if one of them is hit within 3 rolls. Fast 7 outs make me go darkside. I have made a good amount of money on random shooters staying low and pulling if they aren't hitting what I am betting. Don't press much on them. Mostly regress and same bets. Some long rolls I saw in Tunica were random shooter rolls. True they weren't as long or often as rolls by Howard, the Biloxi's, Coaster..who had some nice ones and me..but they were profitable. And I know that Heavy will have some great ones this weekend and beyond.. and I won't be there to make money off him. "If ya wanta talk crap, forget it. If you wanta talk craps..

A player could :
---
a) Place Wager all six of the Box Numbers.( Within U S D $ COMFORT LEVEL )
.
b) Only activate those six Box Numbers
after
the Pass Line number is set / established.
.
c) Activate the six Box Numbers for a specific
number of Rolls /Tosses ( 1,2,3,4,5 or 6 ) of the Dice.
.
d) Either instruct THE DEALER to TURN OFF the Box Number Wagers
.....or Take Down those Box Number Wagers
....and reestablish said Box Number Wagers when a subsequent
shooter has established / set a new Pass Line Point Number.....
.
Noodle with that game plan taking into account :
the Human Dynamic of the Dealer fretting over all the "heavy lifting "
of the TAKING DOWN / REPLACING EFFORT
.
OR
.
Inadvertently sweeping the OFF Wagers away on a SEVEN OUT
or
an unfortunate early S O........

You got the concept...........

just me saying

If you want to play across, you need a regression/progression play to get early payout or you’re doomed. Mp204(206) across for 2 collects transition to 64 across, you have profits and you build a progression on it. Going strait across will kill your bank.

You have to be ready for 1k$+ swings up or down. Tho with consistent DI, it’s prolly the strongest play.

You could incorporate another wrinkle .

With all six Box Numbers loaded up
( let's not talk inclusion of the H O R N numbers )

You could make serial Don't Come bets at a lesser $ value...
As the Don't Come bets go behind a Placed Box Number ,pull that number down

Perhaps two or three Don't Come bets........

AND

pull down your remaining Do Side Place Bets...
after establishing the 2nd or 3rd Don't Come number.

( should a Don't Come cancel out an existing one " Fortunes of War ").

A Seven Out after the Don' t Come bets are in-place
would enhance your winning$

Should the hand TURN MEGA
you could stay firm with zero exposure to loss...

OR

you could tiptoe back in
with the possibility of REGRETTING that go-back choice....

just me second thinking

I change it a lot. But basically what I use is :

20$ pass, 60$ 6&8, 50$ 9 cuz I tend to have an advantage on inside numbers on live plays.

First hit collect 70$
Second hit down to 18$ 6&8 (rack the nine, profits and over)
First hit I spread to 66 inside. (Cost 9$+ 21$ payout)
Second hit on any is up 1 unit. (20-24-24-20) every number independant.
Then parlay (50-60-60-50)
Then up a unit, then collect,...
5&9 goes
15-20-50-50-75-125-125-300-400-750...
6&8 goes
18-24-60-66-66-150-150-180-390-600-900...
If I place 4&10
15-25-25-50-75-150-300-770(pays 1502 after vig)

I been playing around a bit with mp204 also.

B25,35,42,42,35,b25 and 20 pass.

First hit collect 50$ for 1$
Second hit down to 3 place 15$ish+ naked pass
Third spread for 30$ on last two and up a unit on what hits(cost 15$ but you are locked for 98$+)
Next
4&10
15-b25-25-50-75-150-300-770...
5&9
15-20-50-50-75-125-125-300-400-750...
6&8
18-24-60-66-150-150-180-390-600-900...

Now you have two choices.
Sometimes I cut the regression and start low to go strait progressive...

Sometimes I play dark...
It all depends whats the average I’ve seen and how I feel the game is going.

I can tell you, when you are on live play, you pull a stack of green and regress after two hits locking 84$ profits on the first play...box tend to look at you a lot lol. But when you get the big hand and raise your bets to 150-300+ level you look like you’re on godmode lol! Much less fun when you pso tho! It happens, set a loss limit and walk away!
