Heheh, I woke up and just realized it is the 5th of May. I guess I should go to Tunica to grab a margarita and a senorita. It is a rainy day so what is there better to do?
I shall write up a little trip report tonight ; since old age is creeping up, we do not get to Tunica as often as we once did. Plus I have planted ten Jalapeno plants in the garden hoping to be the envy of every senorita in Northeast Arkansas . Wooooo Pig Soooooieeeeeeee!!!!!!! I can hear the great Dylan singin`, "Highway 61 runs right by my baby`s door".
So HWY 61 here I come. Lunch at Pickles and Jam maybe, dinner at the Atrium , but no martinis today ; just Margaritas. "Woo Mercy, Daddy" as Handsome Jimmy would say.

Cino de Mayo was a sunny day but the ground was wet after all the rains we had this week . Gail`s little home town in the foothills of the Ozarks was partially under water from the flooding of the Black , Current and ElevenPoint Rivers. With the warm sun hitting my face , I was ready for Margaritas and Senoritas.
We got to Tunica about 11:30 and had a hot dog and French fries at Pickles and Jam which Gail paid for with her comps . Then she was off to an afternoon of slot and Let it Ride/Three Card Poker play and I took a little walk over to RH parking lot and walked for about 45 minutes at a brisk pace. When I got back to the casino , I found a spot at one of two $5 tables that were open. There was also a crapless table open and as I looked around another table that they were going about the ritual for opening .
I bought in for $600 which is between 4 and 5% of my total gambling bankroll and I won my first wager. The All Tall/Small bonus bet was receiving a lot of action and one shooter from the end of the table hit one end of the bet causing the player next to me to say, " Finally."
"Drinks", a pretty face yells!
"I`ll have a margarita , please."
The table was a choppy table I was slightly ahead or slightly behind the complete session. It was the kind of craps session that just kind of teased you into staying.
A man helps a blind man whom I had seen play many times before to the table . The dealers know how to give him his chips so that he doesn`t get them mixed up. The man is blind .
After a couple of more shooters have so-so rolls , the player next to me asks the dealers , "Who is the shooter?" The stick points to the blind man.
Laughingly the guy next to me says , "Hell no ." and for the first time since I came to the table does not bet the Alltall/allsmall.
The blind man puts his hand on the felt . The stickman pushes the dice into his hand . The blind man not being able to see the dice looks straight to the other side of the table and throws the dice to the back wall .
"Seven!" , the stickman yells , as the dealer takes my red chip from the DP.
"Drinks!"
"I`ll have another margarita. "
After about 15 minutes the blind man had hit the all Small causing the guy next to me to begin cussing.
"This MF--g game"
After 10 more minutes the blind man hits the last number , a 12, to complete the bonus bet . Cheers explode from the table except for one.
'G--D , M__F--!!!!" as he thrusts himself from the table in a huff.
The dealer says to the box , "I think he had about fifty in red."
Well for the rest of the session no more bonus bets were hit and the blind mans helper came and took him to the cage and I continued making $5 DPs laying $36 in odds and after playing 2 hours and 35 minutes , I left the table down $66.
It was a nice day . I went to the Ten10 bar and got a Martini ($6.50) which I used comps for and then met Gail at the Seafood buffet at 4. I guess we are officially old eating that early. But the food seemed to be fresher and more tasty so maybe eating early has its good points .Gail had a $50 buffet voucher she used for the buffet.
All day , I saw senoritas of all colors walking through the casino in their sombreros and also the Fitness buff ladies and guys getting ready for their Saturday battle of the Buff Event.
It was a great day.

Well, I thought when I retired that we would go to casinos more. But since I am older and Gail , also , we tend to go to Tunica less . Our stamina and maybe desire is less than it was. We do get to Las Vegas twice a year now instead of one .
Had I gone to Las Vegas as a youth, I think the women, booze and gambling would have driven me crazy . It is a world where you never have enough money, if you are chasing the party lifestyle. I guess I should have included drugs also . I suppose it was good that I grew up in small town America in the middle of the bible belt.
