I have noticed in the last couple of years that there are many more Darkside players on the craps tables. As a result there is not as much bitching about a Darksider being at the table as there were. Even the Rightside players are now playing the Darkside at times .

I think the Rightside players have finally realized that Darkside players are there trying to win the casinos money just like they are.

I do think all players like to see winners leaving the table, whether they win on the Rightside or the Darkside.

Let`s go get some of the casinos money !!!!!!!

In order to be a complete player and to win the most money you should play both sides. The trick is knowing when to switch off in the middle of a hand. Whether to keep your dark side bets going while you also start right side play. Yeah, the main idea is to beat the casino out of money. It is amazing to me when people say..oh, no..I never play that way. Like you are playing against fellow players or it brings bad vibes. No..it's all against the casino in your own way. What are "bad vibes". This is 2017. No more witches or demons folks. Maybe in Hollywood or TV. Here we have.. Just the game.

Change to the week at the Sno, they are busy and offer good games during the day time. The Muckleshoot is another good bet. The Tulalip is a late action casino.

I think more players are finally understanding the darkside edge. There will always be the bitching just because it's the think to do.

More and more these days I'm using the carnival bets on the layout as my indicator that it's time to Lay a point. Lay against the fourth, fifth, and sixth Fire bet numbers. Lay against the last number needed for the All, Tall, Small bets assuming you can lay those numbers. I don't mind doing a negative progression on any of those bets if the first one or two lose. Three steps and done (lose three in a row and it's time to go).

That's a pretty good idea. It kind of heads towards to $5 Bill's late lay bet if I'm understanding it.

There are two casinos side by side, one smoking casino (3 tables), one non smoking (4 tables).

Very true. Heavy has written about "transition moves". http://www.crapsfest.com/transition-moves/

I see a Las Vegas Dark Side Session in our near future, N8R.
Let me know, I'm down. Always love shooting with fellow Darksiders.

Korean,
Sounds like fun.
I see you mentioned Palace Station in an earlier post - I've only been there a couple of times and never have seen any dark trends; what are your other preferred Darkside venues in Vegas?

Ciao, D.N8r

Red Rock and Suncoast off the top of my head. I'm a former local, so I tend not to go to the Strip.

I lived in Vegas for a year and played or at least observed many of the big houses on the strip on a daily basis. I charted before every single play and played mostly the Dark Side.

#1 was NYNY. Although I have played the Do there and won, I still look mostly for the Don't at NYNY.

I played the Dark Side at one time or another at all of the big places. Any table can run either way at any time but if you hang around long enough every table will turn dark.

Other than NYNY I have played, and won, on the Dark Side at:

Aria
Cosmopolitan
Bellagio
Caesar's
Mirage
Treasure Island
Wynn
Palazzo
Venetian
Cromwell
Bally's
Paris
Planet Hollywood
MGM Grand
Tropicana
Luxor
Excalibur
Mandalay Bay

Downtown:
Golden Nugget, oddly enough I play mostly the Do side here because I like the tables and have turned the All bet there more than once. One Box gets pissy about hitting the back wall if I start winning and bitches even though I am hitting it regularly. He wants to see the dice fly off the wall or he calls it a non hit. Watch out for an old guy that looks kind of like Abe Vigoda, Tessio in The Godfather.
Four Queens
Fremont
Plaza

Off Strip:
Sante Fe
Red Rocks, I like the tables there for throwing
Palace Station
Texas Station
Aliante, The table size and surface is very good there for throwing so I usually play the Do there.

I have won on the Dark Side at all of them. If it is not there it is coming. Patience is not just a virtue, it is the key to survival when playing craps. Never play a table that you have not charted. Never play a table that is not going your way.

I look the most at the big Strip casinos for a Dark Side table. The bigger and the busier the better. This is because the tourists with money play there and no matter how cold the table is they keep playing because they are going back to Dubuque or Peoria tomorrow so they 'have to' keep playing. They also refuse to play the Dark Side. That keep the cold table alive, unlike the off strip places where as soon as it turns coldish it looks like a fire drill.

I think on my "free days" in Tunica I'll dip into the dark side. My favorite place to play the Don'ts there is the Fitz. Great tables for shooting on, but for the most part the locals who play there can't shoot for shit. I'll probably run a negative progression on the odds. Say $10 DC with $30 odds. If it loses then on the next hand go $10/$60. $10/90. $10/$150. $150 would likely be my max lay, but hey - you never know. My next step would be $240. I'll have to work it out, but that's the general idea. Essentially a Fibonacci progression on the odds. Looking for two consecutive wins at any level before regressing to the original 10/30.

Excellent, IMO. And if you are a player who only has one casino to go to in an out of the way place..If you sit by a slot near a craps table long enough..you'll see the cold descend as the seven outs move closer. Days to play cold. Weekends. Tuesday and Wednesday are my right side days..although if I see a table crashing..well..I'm in there. Really good post.

An excellent post IMO by Donatello

Welcome back Donatello. Haven't seen you post on here in a while. I seem to remember we played a session at Ballys almost two years ago. Trouble is we were on the do's :)

Hey LS, nice to see you too!

I wish we had done better, both charting and playing. :)

There were two good things that happened for me that day. I got to meet a fellow APC member and I got a refresher course on listening to my own rules. LOL I need that once in a while.

Some of my best darkside sessions in Vegas were at the Venetian after a show lets out. Everyone buying in for big bucks to impress the women. They are on the outside of booze and beer. Darksider's Dream.
