Triple 0 Roulette

Just saw an article where the Venetian has added a 000 to go along with the 0, 00, on their roulette wheel. That raises the house edge up to 7.69%.
I guess the Venetian is thinking that their players have more DOLLARS than CENTS.

This had brief mention on here a couple of weeks back and has been talked about in more detail on other forums. Stories suggest players are not averse to sitting there, playing whilst 00 seats remain open. 00 is bad enough. I guess it's in the same stable as 6:5 blackjack. Players will sit there right next to a 3:2 table of the same minimum.

It's for all of those players that don't understand the math and there are many.

The casino greed factor again. Remember, they're running a clock on you to see if you qualify for a comped drink anymore. They've implemented a charge for free parking. Resort fees can run comped hotel rooms up to $32 a night. Next they'll be putting pay toilets in the restrooms and start charging you an "ante" at the craps table.
