Will use even number odds for greater ease below.

Purely mathematically speaking, if I had 4x odds on the passline & a come bet travelled to a point number. The best option would be to split the odds even 2x/2x (.606 + .606 = 1.212 total H/E) rather than 3x/1x (.471 + .848 = 1.319 total H/E).

Again, long term math value only. If you have signature numbers or a certain number has been trending more than it should... you may be more inclined to bet differently. What good are odds, if they don't pay? ;)
