Roulette

Believe it or not, craps is not the only game in the casino. Savvy players have a back-up plan for when their craps game is off. If Heavy isn't winning at Craps you're likely to find him playing Baccarat, Blackjack, or even Roulette. If the table games aren't working out he may even take a cigar break in the high limit slot area for a little hit-and-run action. But just like craps - you have to plan your play and play your plan. If you have a question on slots, video poker, carnival games or any table games other than craps, this is the place to post. Let's hear about the games you play when you're not playing craps! What's your game? What's your strategy? How's that working out for you? Inquiring minds want to know!

Roulette

I play roulette when taking a break from craps. How many numbers can you bet on, on a crap machine? I think it doesn’t matter on a table but some machines will cut you off if you are betting too many numbers

You can bet all 38 numbers (American Wheel) on a live roulette game as long as you do not exceed the max bet at the table. I'm not aware of any limits on any of the electronic wheel machines but there are several different manufacturers of them as well as the slot machine versions (upright). They may indeed have limits on them, I've just never tried more than a seven number sector (I'm a sector bettor orr a Columns plus a color - red or black depending on which Column I'm betting), So I rarely have more that $35 to $70 on a spin. Note that you also have to be careful if you're trying to play all the numbers using a negative progression and you're playing straight up AND playing corners as you can find yourself quickly over table max while running up against your max bet.
