Not new to craps, but new to the Board! Thanks Heavy.
A little news for content.
Was at River Spirit Tulsa Friday night. It is one of my favorite places. The dealers are great, fast, honest and competent. They run the ship just tight enough to keep things moving and everyone happy.
I had a $1200.00 buy in and couldn't hit my butt with both hands. Tried light side and dark side and both were taking my bank roll, so I cashed out and said that I'd see them later. Cashed out with $700.00. Went and watched my wife play some video poker until I got bored and head back to the bowl. Me and two others had some great 15+ rolls. Stayed for a while, tipped generously and left with $2,150.00. So not a terrible night. Covered the cost of my wife's wagering and Ruth's Chris for dinner that night.
We have a lot of casinos around me but the closest don't have any table games. A few farther away with craps, but some charge an ante on every come-out roll. Keeps me from playing at those.

I haven't played in River Spirit for a couple of years now. Last time I was there the table was so bouncy that unless you had some pretty decent skills it was tough keeping the dice on the table. One of the slowest tables I'd played on in awhile because the pit was constantly chasing dice and we were waiting on them because the shooter always called for "same dice." Keeping things moving - they did not. LOL. Perhaps things have changed. I had no complaints at all with the dealers - just the fact that the table had so much foam underlay that it was pretty much unplayable. With that said, I did hit the 12 for a guy who was passing the dice to everyone and giving them three shots to hit the 12 for the ATS after he couldn't hit it for himself. After hitting the ATS for him I came back and hit his point - the 4 - for him - Hard. Just showing off shooting from Straight Out. Then I set the Nine as the point (one of my signature numbers from straight out) and went PSO. LOL. Just when you think you are bullet proof.
Congrats on the comeback win, and welcome to the group. We have some good guys up in the Tulsa market who you'll likely cross paths with either via this forum or the FaceBook Group - which you should join if you're not already a member of. Thanks again.

The tables have definitely changed since you were here, or at least the table I play on. I feel like it is very controllable. The other table, I'm thinking not so much. I haven't played on it in a couple of years because of the bounce. I was at the MGM Detroit last month and you never knew where the dice were going fly on any of the tables. It was like throwing on a kitchen counter top.
Re: Intro
Yeah, the only place I ever liked to play in Detroit wasn't in Detroit. It was across the rive in Windsor. But I'd tolerate the Motor City casino. Took forever to get the dice back because of all of the finger snappers and dice schoolers, but the tables were really pretty decent.
