Trends and Introduction of CrapsForever to Axis Power Craps

Setting and influencing the dice roll is just part of the picture. To beat the dice you have to know how to bet the dice. Whether you call it a "system," a "strategy," or just a way to play - this is the place to discuss it.

Trends and Introduction of CrapsForever to Axis Power Craps

Introduction to Craps
I initially started playing Craps in 2000, I used to go to Bally's in Atlantic City to play the Slot Machines (Slingo) and Blackjack. I used to win about $200 playing the slots and would mostly break even play Blackjack. One day, I walked by this table....with all of these funny numbers on it and was told that it was a Craps table. I had no idea what the game was about but people looked like they were having fun.

I came to the craps table with $200; I had absolutely no idea what to do, the dealer advised me to bet the 6 & 8, I cashed in $100 in chips and walked away with $1,100. A Craps Addict was born.

Is Craps Random?
I don't believe Craps is random at all. I truly believe that almost everybody has a pre-determined way of hitting certain numbers most of the time regardless of how they "set" the Dice. I believe in signature numbers. My signature numbers are Horns specifically 2's and 12's and 4's and 10's. In my first 10 years of playing Craps, I mostly used the 3V Dice Set and was usually the best shooter on the table. In the past couple of years, I have not been as successful with the 3V set. To be completely honest, the 3V set led me to immediate 7-outs over the past couple of years so I currently primarily use the 2V Dice set (Great for 4's and 10's) and some Hardway Sets (5/3 5/3) is my current favorite -lots of Hardways.

Horns
Through the years, I have noticed that regardless of how I throw the Dice; I throw Horns at an unusually high clip. I made a conscious effort to hone the ability to specifically attempt to throw Horns especially during the comeout part of the game. Utilizing specific Dice Sets, 5/6 6/5, the 5/6 5/6 and the 6/5 6/5, I usually throw Horns on the comeout roll at a ridiculous clip. I have been called the "Horn King" based on my ability to throw them. The Horn "gift" that I possess is a gift and a curse. I love throwing Horns on the comeout roll because I am usually betting them. I HATE seeing Horns thrown during the Point Cycle of the game because I usually 7-out immediately after throwing a Horn. When I throw consecutive Horns, it's almost 100% that I will not throw another Box number no matter how much I try to.

Prop players LOVE playing with me and I have received over $500 in tips (Lifetime) based on throwing consecutive horns at various casinos throughout the World including the United States, Canada, Bahamas, Panama, etc.

At Bethlehem Sands last summer, a Prop bettor kept on betting $25 Horn on every single roll of mine and would immediately parlay her Horn bet to $100. She won $4,000 primarily by betting Horns on my rolls and told me that I should be also betting the Horn on myself every single roll.

Last year at Rivers Casino in Des Plaines, Illinois, I had a non-descript roll where I threw 4 - 5 Horns in a row before 7ing out, never making the Point. Two players came up to me and gave me $100 tips each, apparently they had both made $3,000 each by parlaying their Horns bets.

In May of this year at Bally's in AC, a lady kept on betting a $5 12 on every single roll of mine. Though I am not sure how much she started with, she cashed out $1,750 and thanked me profusely so I am going to assume she made a decent profit.

In July of this year at Rivers Casino in Des Plaines; I hit a few consecutive Horns in a row...pulling a man completely out of a $2,000 deficit. He gave me a $50 tip which I was quite appreciative of.

The interesting fact about all of these Horn wins/tips is I never mentioned to any of these bettors my Horn prowess. Somehow, they noticed the "trend" of mine early and decided to take advantage of it.

Sensing a "7-out"
Including my Horn "gift", I also have a unique ability to tell when I am going to 7-out most of the time. The 7-out foresight is a very powerful tool that I have been using for years. People call me "superstitious" but I keep track of most of my rolls especially focusing on what occurred immediately before I 7-out. This ability initially started when I started playing at Ballys in Atlantic City back in the Fall of 2000. There was an older Hispanic Gentleman who was a great shooter; I played with him a few times and noticed that at almost a 100% clip, he would call his bets OFF right before he 7'ed out. It happened so often, I realized that it could not have been coincidence. He used to always say...."Listen to the shooter", If the shooter is calling his bets "OFF", why the hell would you leave your bets on? I did not understand him at the time.

Through the following years, I have a Craps buddy who I play Craps with often who became the "7 coming up on the next roll Wizard." Damn near 90% of the time that he called his bets "OFF", the very next roll was a "7". I did not understand what he was doing until he explained to me that some of the shooters were receiving the Dice with the "7" showing on the face of the Dice from the Stickman. For example, the shooter would get the Dice with the 5/4 5/3....5's up top, 4's and 3's facing us on the other side of the table which means that the shooter also has the 4 and 3 facing them. In a weird way, the shooter had great axis control and would throw the Dice right back with the same 4/3 coming right up on top of the Dice. I started studying this trend and noting it and noticed that in the almost every craps session, people who get the Dice and never re-set it usually throw the Dice right back...with the Dice set formation facing them (also facing the other side of the table) coming up as the Dice roll.

A lot of Stickmen "set up" Dice shooters who simply pick up the Dice and throw it right back to fail by giving them the Dice with the 7's facing them. Most shooters only focus on the Dice set combination on top of the Dice, in my opinion, the Dice set facing you is more important. I try my best to not bet on any player who does not re-set the Dice...the risk factor is just too great.

I was playing at Bally's in AC earlier this year and this rogue stickman kept on intentionally sending the Dice out to random shooters with the 7's on the Face of the Dice every single time. I hopped the 7's almost every time he did it for a profit but he was killing the pace of the game.

Dice Down, Man Down, 7-Out, Line-away
In reference to me knowing that I am going to 7-out; I notice a ridiculous correlation to me 7ing out immediately after the Dice goes off the table and whenever I throw consecutive Horns. My craps buddy alerted me to this trend years ago when I noticed he would always call his bets "OFF" immediately before I 7'ed out almost all of the time. I told him, he was "jinxing" me and he informed me that he was making a betting decision based on my "trend". Through the years, this trend had become ridiculous, in my most recent Craps session, I 7'ed out immediately each and every time on the very next roll after the Dice went off the table (8 for 8), I started hopping the 7's everytime this occurred incurring the wrath of the table and being labeled the "Black Cloud".

Almost all of my 7-outs during my most recent 3 days Craps sessions were preceded by either the Dice going off the table, by throwing a SINGLE Horn during the "ON" cycle of the game or the Dice slipping out of my hands when attempting to set them. I became so incensed by the Horn/7-out correlation that I changed both Dice after every Horn I threw which was slightly more successful.

I decided recently instead of simply calling my bets "OFF" when I feel like I am about to throw a "7", I would take advantage of this "trend" by profiting on it. I usually call my bets OFF, then Hop the 7's for about $3 - $5 on each “7” when I feel it coming...I have been told repeatedly to hop the 7’s for $25 each due to my success rate but betting big on one roll bets has always been a big hindrance for me. Betting big in general has always been an issue for me.

Back in May of this year at Rivers Casino in Des Plaines, Illinois....the Boxman and I counted 13 consecutive times where the Dice went off the table and the "7" was the very next roll over a 2 hour period on multiple tables. I started hopping the 7's after the 4th consecutive time it occurred. It makes absolutely Zero sense but I strongly believe in betting on trends. In my opinion, the 7-out after the Dice goes off the table is a strong phenemenon that nobody has been able to expain though it occurs at an insane rate.

Are you going to have a good roll, shooter?
Another strange ability of mine is I can usually tell if I am going to have a good roll or not based on the very first roll after establishing the Point. I have been tracking this trend for years. Usually, as long as I don't throw a 7 (Obviously) or a Horn number as my first roll...I have a great roll. Whenever I throw a Horn on my first roll after establishing the Point, I usually either 7-out immediately or throw another Horn number before 7-ing out. Due to this trend, I usually have single or Zero Odds on my first roll after establishing the Point. The drawback to this strategy occurs when I buckshot the Point (Hit the Point right back on the first roll after establishing the Point); it hurts to make a Point with minimal odds. I always advise players not to bet on me until they see me roll a Box Number after establishing the Point, most don't listen to me....

PSO King
A few months ago, people were calling me the "Point 7 out (PSO) King" because I was establishing the Point, then 7-ing out all the time. Back in June 2012 in Hollywood Casino, WV, I had a one day streak of 7-ing out 12 times in a row without making a single point including 10 consecutive PSO's by me. I usually refuse to shoot the Dice for the rest of the day if I don’t make a single point in 3 attempts but the tables were so COLD that I figured I had nothing to lose. I hopped the 7's on the first roll each time so I actually made a profit even though I PSO'd 10 consecutive times.

Streaky!
Sidenote, I am the definition of streaky. I had an unbelievable streak of going 25+ consecutive Craps sessions from the Fall of 2010 through the Spring 2011 without winning a single craps session, that's over 25 different days of playing Craps without coming home with a profit. I was primarily betting the Pass Line with Double Odds, Placing the 6 & 8 and doing Consecutive Come Bets during this period. This was the darkest time of my Craps playing career and I contemplated permanently retiring from the game multiple times. During this period, I had just relocated to Florida and was primarily playing on Casino cruises. I can't explain it but the craps game on a boat is not the same as on Land. Per my discussion with many Craps players on these cruises, play Craps on boats for fun, don't expect to make any money; I believe this sentiment wholeheartedly. After going through this losing streak, I decided to no longer play Craps by the book and bet primarily on trends and have been fairly successful ever since making this change.

Dice Influencers
I have met a few DI's in my life; there is nothing better than playing with someone who has control of the Dice. In a post that I wrote yesterday, I mention playing with the "Greatest Dice Shooter" ever over the past weekend. As most of you already know, It's not that difficult to figure out exactly who is a DI; most stand Stick Left or Stick Right. I personally know a few DI shooters; I am one of those friendly types on the Craps tables who makes it my business to converse with every great shooter who is a DI as long as they are approachable. Some of the DI's admitted taking lessons, others just practiced based on what they read in books and online.

Personally, I do not consider myself a Dice Influencer. I have never taken a Dice throwing class. I was successful for 10 years shooting the Dice from Straight Out (SO) by mimicking whatever the best player on the craps table did including Dice Set, grip, toss, etc. Over the past couple of years, I have not been as successful shooting the Dice consistently so I spend more time traveling and searching for DI's to bet on. I purchased my first Craps practice rig last week and started practicing at home, hopefully this would lead to better, more consistent results at the tables. I have also began shooting more often from Stick Left and Stick Right than simply shooting from straighout which is my preferred position. Though, I find SL1 and SR1 positions to be very uncomfortable; I am finding increased success with them.

Personal Craps Weaknesses
My current biggest weaknesses in Craps are learning to not bet on random shooters and learning how to bet properly and ride the wave on GREAT rolls to more profits. I find that I am usually one of the lowest winners during a Monster roll because I am either too passive (not taking advantage of repeaters by pressing) or too aggressive (Pressing way too early)…finding that balance is the hardest thing for me. I was in the midst of 3 Monster rolls during my last session; I went from $80 to $1,300 on one shooter, a $700 win on another shooter. The third roll, I had a $600 win.

The first Monster roll would have been much more successful but I had to be passive to make back the money that I lost betting on random rollers earlier that day. The second Monster roll, I waited too long to start betting aggressively…he hit the 6 as his Point 4 consecutive times on a $15 table and I was still only betting Double Odds because yet again I first had to make back the money I lost betting on random rollers earlier that day. When the shooter of the 2nd Monster roll eventually 7’ed out (Dice hitting a Come Bet on a late Come Bettor in his landing zone); I had close to $400 on the table….the most money I have ever “lost” on a 7-out. The third monster roll was cool because I called my bets “OFF” (2 consecutive Horns) right before the shooter 7’ed out.

My last major weakness is learning how to bet appropriately on myself; this has always been an issue for me. No matter how many points in a row, I make…I feel uncomfortable having more than double or triple odds on myself. Somehow, the more odds I see behind my Pass Line Bet as a shooter, it greatly affects my shooting. I am most comfortable when I have Zero Odds behind my Pass Line Bet. I am currently considering simply placing the Point and leaving Zero Odds behind my Pass Line Bet. Though I give up a higher House Edge…if it leads to me being more comfortable and having longer rolls…it’s definitely worth it.

During my last Craps trip, I was usually the best shooter during the day; the DI’s came out at night. I kept on making money on my rolls though I never bet enough on myself and kept on losing betting on random rollers. At night, I did not shoot the Dice and only bet when the DI’s had the Dice. If I would have stuck to only betting on my rolls during the daytime and betting on the DI’s at night, this would have been my most successful weekend ever.

Conclusion
I currently live in South Florida...the land of no Craps on Land so I am forced to travel frequently to play Craps. I will most likely be relocating to a Craps friendlier area closer to the Northeast by next summer; I will make sure to update that info here once that happens.

I apologize for the rather LONG post, I can get a bit long winded in my writing at times...

Lots of great stuff there, and much of it mirrors one of the new segments of the seminar. In that segment I talk a bit about the movie "The Men Who Stare at Goats" and the US Government's work on precognition and remote viewing. We've all had that moment where we release the dice and KNOW the seven is rolling. Subconciously, we can spot trends of three, four, or five consecutive horn numbers on the horizon. We recognize that when a number that's been MIA for 20 or 30 rolls shows up that something is going with the shooter's toss and we might want to turn our bets off for a roll or two. We connect the dots when the dice are giving up consecutive numbers - 4 - 5 - 6 . . . turn me off. You will probably see more on this in future seminars. Thanks for the post.

Little Joe,

I should have written "after cashing in $100 for Chips....I later cashed out $1,100". I'll go back and edit the post to clear up the confusion in a bit. If you are referring to the "strategy" I used on my very first time playing craps; I bet the $12 6 & 8 on every single shooter as advised by the Dealer and sometimes added a $10 Field Bet. We played for about 4 hours. My friends and I thought we had found the guaranteed way to riches.

How little we knew.....

Thanks for all the positive comments.

Heavy,

I can't tell you how many times a shooter will establish a Point, then throw every single box number without a single repeater before throwing a Horn, then immediately 7ing out. This is why I HATE Come Bets with a passion unbeknownst to Mankind. On 5 different occasions on my last craps trip, I got caught in that vicious cycle.....of continuous come bets without a single repeater, then 7-out. I also see too many people placing Come Bets in the Landing Zone of shooters.

I also witnessed a player lose $30,000 in 15 hours betting $25 Pass Line, 5X Odds with $25 Continuous Come Bets with 5X odds on a Norwegian Star Cruise Trip earlier this year to the Western Caribbean. I lost my entire session bankroll in 5 out of 7 sessions; everybody lost. Nothing worse than being stuck on a Cruiseship with one BOUNCY Craps table for 7 days. It would probably be my first and last cruise on Norwegian.

I digress.....
