Greetings guys,

IN PUERTO RICO,we just had a storm, the internet went bye bye for two days.

It came back at 5pm today.

In my mind i had till 7 pm to make my bet, i called my bookie to make my bet, too late tony tells me THE
game was at 3pm, this is the new bullshit now, in the nba.

I handicapped ORLANDO to win, because they were 11 points better then the Nets, in my system, vegas had the nets Fav by 1.5. ORLANDO WON OUTRIGHT by 10 points.

with my luck, i missed out winning 2 hundred dollars, but tomorrow is another day.

What is next, a NUKE in my back yard?

jaime.

Jamie,
Welcome back, brah!

Funny I was looking at the start of the games and thought Orlando and the points and the Clippers and the points for grins.

Good to see you’re back and sharpening the pencil, good luck, DN8R

Ps the new start times are all over the map....

Greetings guys, DarthNater,

These games are not Back to Back, so i have the [ LAKERS ] they are giving 3.5 to TOR, they should win

by 5 points OR more.

After missing out on ORLANDO YESTERDAY, The lakers should beat that line tonight.

Luck to you tonight.

jaime.

Without waxing political - I am of the opinion that most of this country is fed up with professional athletes, their team owners, the leagues, and sponsors. Other than sports bettors - I'm not sure if anyone cares about pro sports at all anymore.

Yup, pretty much zero interest in them anymore, particularly the NBA.

This is a hard one for me but i think im about there as well. Sports of all kinds has always been a big common interest my Dad and i had and now my son and I have. My Dad and i were alum athletes at the same college. We shared the love of the outdoors as well but my son is not the hunter/fisherman i am so sports is something we enjoyed together. I hope Heavy is right. I wouldnt mind if it disappeared and the prima donas had to get real jobs. It looks like covid might take care of it anyway, at least baseball. Marlins had 15 test positive and 4 teams games were cancelled because of it.

Good to see your picks again Jamie.

I’ll join the others in the feeling that my very limited interest in pro sports has dwindled even further, but I do like seeing the possibilities of predicting outcomes and the potential profit associated with that.

Here’s hoping you get back on your win streak!

Greetings guys/gals,

Till the end of the season, will only be playing to win, on the team i handicap/money line.

Today i had the pacers, they won by 11 points, the point spread was to high 7.5 THAT'S why i bet them to win.

Greetings Darthnater,

Today i have Dallas the game starts at 2:30 pm.

Will be playing the Money line, betting 220 dollars to win 184 dollars.

As i see it, you must be a good handicapper to bet the money line.
Also you must have a 10,000 dollar bankroll or higher to play the money line, i'm still learning how to bet this game.

luck to us all.

jaime.

I thought you were though betting on these losers for this season. I saw all I needed to see in a few sports news clips over the weekend. About the only sports left out there worth watching at this point as far as I'm concerned - pro rodeo, horse and dog racing, and MAYBE hockey.

Greetings heavy,

I see a team not giving 100 %, and i get angry inside AND then i come back to realty, people like me do not gamble for the money WE gamble for the action.

I know in the long run vegas will take my BANKROLL betting on NBA GAMES.

15 of my loses this year was due to the fact that my team won the game BUT did not beat the spread.

The other day my team BOSTON won the game by 4 points and the line was 4.5, i lost by .5

That's why i am playing the money line from now on. WIN OR LOOSE.

luck for us all. jaime.

I think until the seedings are set, that the NBA is suspect. Can you really bet the Lakers when they have nada to play for until the playoffs start? I'm sure you're way ahead of me with that thinking, Jamie. What's your approach to the series games in the playoffs?

DN8R

PS Yeah, money line for sure.......

Greeting DarthNater,

Forget the lakers in the play off's, on the money line they will go off at 5 to 1, you have to risk 500 dollars to win 100 dollars.

Update on my betting...yesterday i won 245 dollars.Today i won 184 dollars.[ won 429 dollars ] won 2 games.
[ lost 220 dollars ] lost 2 games

..................................................................................................................................
+plus [ 209 dollars so far.

Two things. Thing One: If a team (and the league) is more focused on politics that (in fact) really boils down to symbolism over substance then I'm done with them anyway. It's funny how when five police officers were killed in Dallas protecting a Black Lives Matter Protest March in Dallas and the Dallas Cowboys wanted to wear a patch honoring their sacrifice that the NFL nixed it. But when BLM protestors cause tens of millions of dollars in damage to private and public property, injure thousands of people in mob violence it's okay. Since the death of George Floyd ten police offers have been murdered and hundreds more assaulted but its okay. And THEN your NBA teams showed up to play wearing league approved BLM jerseys and pro baseball teams got a league approved BLM logo on their pitcher's mounds. Sorry. I don't normally get into political issues on the forum because I realize it typically pisses off about half of the member base. But let's face it. The mob violence going on in certain cities in this country is no more about George Floyd's death (which was unjust and the officer involved needs to face murder charges for - which he is) than it is about reparations for somebody's great great great grandfather being brought to this country as a slave. It's about burning cars, businesses, and public buildings, pulling down statues, and stealing shit. It is nothing short of anarchy. BLM is a terrorist organization. Period. Just look at them marching in the streets dressed in their black commando gear they bought off Wish packing their .22 caliber AR's. They look like a bunch of Saddam Hussein's Republican Guard. ANTIFA is no better - worse in fact as most of these protestors appear to be well educated teachers, lawyers, perpetual students, and subterranean basement dwelling trust fund babies who are bused in and paid to protest. The assets of both of these organizations should be seized and used to pay for the damages they've done to the country's cities, and the media, professional athletes, political Leftists and Hollywood elitists who encourage this crap should be held accountable for encouraging this behavior. Period. You want to protest? Take a lesson from Martin Luther King. Take a lesson from Ghandi. You don't have to take lessons from Hitler, Lenin, Marx, Mao,Phil-pot, or any of their ilk and destroy a society and kill six million people in the process. Then again, you'd have to study history to know any of this stuff and I guess they don't teach real history in the school systems anymore.

Professional sports, like CNN, has shot itself in the foot this year. Their support of BLM, combined with Covid-19's keeping the stands empty, will likely bankrupt many of the franchises. The only thing keeping them afloat now it "TV money," and if the fans abandon the advertisers it's all over.

Thing Two: If you're gambling for "action" instead of to "win" you're probably on the wrong forum. I think the world of you, Jaime, but you're head's in the wrong place if that's your approach to gambling.
