I like playing the Action Numbers. I always keep a Crib Sheet with me in my note pad in case I forget which numbers I need to play.
You put 3 units on the 1-4 double street, 3 units on the 10-13 double street, 2 units on quad numbers 17,18,20 and 21, and put 3 units on the 28-31 double street. This covers the numbers evenly all around the wheel, and is a decent way to play the game.



The other play I use is the; "1st dozen and second dozen" equal amounts on both.

Thanks for this Bill. I always forget what the Patrick play is, but it is a good way to play the game.

11 units at risk per spin.

- The double street hits pay 5 to 1, or 15 units for a net of +4 units
- The quad hits pay 8 to 1, or 16 units for a net of +5 units

On each spin, 22 of the 38 numbers are covered, or 57.9%

My son is a fan of the 2 dozen play although I think he'll choose the 2 dozen bets based on past spin results rather that always playing the same ones.

Not a big player of roulette, but it seems to me if a player played two columns..the 2-1 bet at the bottom, you'd have better odds. $10 on column 1 and 2..Taking the zeros into account you still have over a 60% chance of winning. No? It's a slow grind for sure, but you could martingale it.

Heavy has a play that involves using the column bets along with either a red or black bet.

I don't view Roulette as any more than a diversion from craps and an opportunity to get off your feet for a bit. A grind play is exactly what I would be looking for.
