Looks like several share your opinion as the line has moved to HEAT -6.5 at most of the books here in town (Stations has it at -6), so would you buy it down to -5.5; take the Heat on the M/L (a big lay even for us darksiders); or ?

It was -6.5 for me last night. I bought it down to -5.5.

Whenever he gives a pick, and it ends up winning.......it was always at least another point for me to lay.

I played the Pacers at -5.5 another good team against another bad team,NY.

I was at the casino last night Jamie, and when I realized it was about 7:30, I took a walk over to the sports betting terminals. I've never used one of these aside from just poking around and seeing what could be bet on and all the options and prop bets for the superbowl. Anyway, by the time I found the Heat on the screen, they were -6.5 just like r_ventura_23 saw. I took a $20 out of my pocket, slid it into the bill acceptor, but when I was trying to select that game for my bet, it showed that betting was closed for that game. I must have missed it by less than a minute. Seeing how the game went, I'll consider myself lucky on that one.

Mine wasnt as close as call as Rickem, but i had been thinking about making my first ever sports bet. My son was showing me how to bet on line and understand the terminology. I told him about jamie's picks and how its been going. He said that looks like a good bet. I decided to think about it some more then customers came in my store and i forgot it. Now im thinking about rethinking my sports betting. They dont call it gambling for nothing, as a matter of fact in Oklahoma they charge for the privilege.(craps ante for those who dont know)

The Heat was a good bet, even on the road, it just didn't work out last night. It is gambling nonetheless, but just like when a craps knocks you off the pass line, you don't switch to Blackjack......
