Ok, so how's this for confirmation bias? I just tossed a quick hand over lunch and tried this out. $66 even, $1 HW bets. 2V set. Set a point of 8. Then tossed hard 4, hard 4, hard 10. Parlayed the first hard 4. Next hit I pressed it to $25 and racked the rest. Parlayed the hard 10 when it hit.
sounds like a guaranteed winner to me, this game is "too easy''!

22Inside wrote: Thu Jul 18, 2019 12:01 pm Nate, I didn't realize you didn't play your GWAG after the initial come out. Interesting.

For me, I'm generally off on the come out. What I will do is if an individual HW is pressed up from a previous hit, I'll hop the hardway on the comeout.
22I,
Yep, I had to dial it back to the first come-out for a couple of reasons: 1) switching sets seems to really throw me off; 2) the risk to my bonus bet action gets excessive and creeps into my brain; 3) plus generally I play a variation of the Heavy Heatseeker, so I might have a come bet or two out there.

I went to this approach about two years ago, the jury is still out, so I reserve my right to back track. It should seem obvious when I do it or not; I say take your queue from the shooter, when I don't bet world hi/lo it should be a warning to everyone. Of course it backfired on me last year at Ballys on Vets Weekend. I was at SR2, Heavy was at SR1 getting skinny, and BD was SO when on the 27th roll, I made my point & told everyone no GWAG, yet everyone bet it - I bet a hardway to emphasize things were different. Yeah things were different alright as I toss back-to-back comeout sevens with the v-3 mutant and crash all the $5 repeaters that were one away for everybody. Fortunately I regrouped and started making numbers again and hit two repeaters eventually so it wasn't a total loss, but that little event really has stayed with me; so I dialed down the aggressiveness.

Same with the ATS challenge I took earlier this year, sticking with the same set and letting the numbers fall to me is really paying nicely, D.N8r

Impressive demonstration of confirmation bias, or skill, or variance...... I dunno, take the cash. Glad you pressed, have you seen my Hardway Analytics post yet? We can program that out; in fact I'd love to see a Hardways trip report where the hards saturate the hand, that would be fun, cheers, Nate

10$ all hw high on 4&10. (2-2-3-3)
Take the number that hit and go to 5$ on the hw.

Double (ish)the hw on every hit.
5-10-25-50-100

That’s my strategy. Lets me place 4&10 pretty often for 3$ on a 15$ table.

Or 1$ all hw go to 5. If I and placing even already.

Also found out a 1$ HW 4 for the boys is a great way to turn down heat. It hit 10 times in a day at Paris. I was their favorite friend!

I have been tracking my use of hard-way bets as part of my main strategy to win at the table. I play on small tables (5-6 feet long) and the ability to DI is very strong, and my practice table is a replica of what I play on at the casino. My objective is to cash double my buy in of 100.00. I only bet on my rolling or just one hard-way when others are shooting. 8 out 10 rolls I make, I earn money. I use 6-2, 6-2 dice set, bet 10.00 on 4/10 hard each, 5
dollar bet on the field. Normally when I go (once a week), there is usually just me or perhaps one other at the table, so I can get it and go. 8 out of 10 times, I make a 4 or 10 hard before a seven and usually one of the 2 or 12 sometimes both. I have experimented with high/low bets with some good turn around, and I have been incorporating it in my game as of late. When I hit the hard way, I press it 10 dollars each, and if I hit either a second time, i press it another 10 each. I have hit it a few times the third time, which is very nice payout. It's a simple strategy for me, seems to work well, and I can take enough money from them to pay my grocery bill for the family.

One play that has worked fine for me is 10$ spread 2$ea on h6&8 and 3$ea on h4&10, along with even betting of some sort.
How ever I would go to 5$ then half parlay as long as it hits, replace a winner at 5$.

H6&8
So 2 pays 20, go to 5 you pocket 15$,
5 pays 50, you stay for 25$ pocket 25$
25 pays 250, 125$ bet and 125 in your pocket.
125 pays 1250, there I stop the half parlay and just doubble to 250$....rarely you will get 4+ hit.
So 2-5-25-100(125)-250...

H4&10
3-6-25-75-150

How 2$ can pay you close to 1500$ in 3-4 hits.
Fun and easy to manage.

Most I get is 3-4 in a row. I've hit the 100-125$ level from time to time.. sure is a nice bonus.

But I often hit a few per session...I like to piggy 1$ h4&10 for dealers...one day I tipped em 100$ in an hour or two that way and they were going nuts
