YouTube Craps Videos

Setting and influencing the dice roll is just part of the picture. To beat the dice you have to know how to bet the dice. Whether you call it a "system," a "strategy," or just a way to play - this is the place to discuss it.

I don't think you have anything to worry about. First off, it's the Yuri grip. He featured it in a book. In fact, it was THE book on dice control in its day. Second, most people will look at that grip and say "that shit can't work." Mind you, I've seen slazy use that grip very effectively, but in all the years I've been teaching this stuff he is the ONLY forum member I've seen master it.

Looking at the video, there are a couple of points where your finger alignment is off quite a lot (in more than one way). Also, and this was always my problem with the grip, there's a tendency for the dice to split apart from each other in the front when you move the fingers behind them. You can go back to the lateral faces of the dice (you did this) to lock them back together, but it's still very tricky to keep them locked together once you release pressure from the sides and move them to the back again.

Overall, though, good quality video. Have fun with it.

I myself have been contemplating making videos. My goal was to meet other like minded-rollers. However, I don't want to put myself out there either. On my journey's alone however I have met 3 DI's and we have been successful. Recently, I have given my wife training so now I have guaranteed 2 man team. I have posted on these people's videos or comments ( Dangerous Arm, Full Press, Matador, etc.) to try and form teams to win and learn and NONE have taken me up on the offer. So it makes me wonder how REAL their rolls are on video vs. casino. I am not afraid to walk into a casino and risk potential bad throws. I am still playing off bankrolls from my last FOUR trips to Vegas. I bought a craps table with winning from The MGM Grand. I travel and I play, so I would love it if they would take me in on an invite to witness their expertise. I mean, they are throwing it out there for the world to see for free and I have the funds so what are they afraid of??

Next time you are in Brisbane, AU I'll meet you for a session.

Put your videos out there and they may be more inclined to meet you. The more videos the better.

You are in good company here to find others to join in sessions and build the playing network.

I disagree with the excuse of "keeping it hidden if you have a good thing going that is making you some money".
Most casino's know who you are and your last name. So you are not anonymous.

I posted my video and not even a little bit of criticism from you on how to modify aspects of the toss and the steps along the road to better self judge the toss and the modifications required to get the results that are needed for each of those individual steps.

Either the experts cannot give instruction to replicate all the small nuances in the toss and don't pay much attention to detail or they really don't know as much as really say they do and are still searching themselves. There is an ancient saying that when the student comes to the teacher and tells the teacher they need help or that they don't know. I think you can speculate how easily the teacher can take advantage of the student. A real teachers payoff is the genuine self satisfaction of truly assisting and helping the student blossom. This is genuine growth for both the student and the teacher.

The constructive criticism should be judged by others if they are valid, of no merit or how specifically it should be done and how others have fixed the issue with actual real world examples with pictures and videos or how they really got to the end product.

Will my video get me banned or create more heat for me. Not a chance. The reason is that I'll be using a different toss. You cannot connect the dots unless the big tattoo on your hand is visible in the video.
So maybe post a video of a different OH toss that you are working on so we can perfect it here publically and see how it progresses with the boards advice.
With all the so called wannabe DI's and dice setters with all their unique tossing styles that you see in the casino on a daily basis, posting your video is not going to jeopardize your good money making thing in any way.
Lets face it, there are a few ways that you can toss the dice. There are different ways the dice do react on the table. Some are long tumbling rolls that start at the props area. Others land the dice so they hit under the first row of pyramids. Others toss the dice so they land near the big six and eight and have one hop and run out of steam and stop right at the base.
Does your shot look like this? Are you worried that if you are executing a toss like this that someone will say that it is a controlled shot at the casino? Are you using an identifiable landing spot that is so unusual that some stranger that has seen it on the site and announce your nickname at the table? I've seen virtually illegal shots that have so much action on them that you would not say there is any influence on them at all. Heavy could you email me your current toss video so we can have a discussion in private if you won't post it here in the forum.

Thank You
Stingray
