Setting and influencing the dice roll is just part of the picture. To beat the dice you have to know how to bet the dice. Whether you call it a "system," a "strategy," or just a way to play - this is the place to discuss it.

I took a class and here is what I learned...

The title of the topic thread is "Betting systems and Strategies for Casino Craps". I believe that knowledge is power and the more knowledge I have over a certain topic or subject, the more power I have to overcome difficulties.

For starters let me make one thing clear. NO ONE ( HEAVY, Dicecoach, etc...) has given me any money or promised me anything to start / post this topic. This is something I believe I should do after taking classes with HEAVY. And I encourage others who have taken any kind of classes from the different coaches we have to post something they learned that made them a better craps player or DI. I know lots of comments are made in trip reports so this should be short and sweet. However. If you are a person that is interested to be a DI or want to be a better craps player but don't think a class can help you don't bother reading the rest of the comments thinking you can read everyone's post and know everything. The experience is very personal. What worked for me may not work for you.

On to the post.
I believe taking one or more classes and listening to other people's experience is the best system. You work on you first and once you have you working ( IE physical and mental) then you can start learning the betting strategies. You can be someone that knows everything there is to know about odds and when to do what but if you can't be patient and control you then you are going to loose your money. So here goes....

I took a class with the coaches and here is what I learned.
1- Just about everything I thought I knew about playing craps was crap. ( thanks Dicecoach )
2- Yea my throw sucks. Thanks Irish for fixing it
3- It's not about making a ton of money. It's about not losing a ton of money ( thanks HEAVY ).
