HS,
Mr. Kaufman provides the weak underbelly of his method when he says: "To lose you would have to toss 8 pass or 8 don't pass losses in a row. That is nearly impossible like catching lightening in a jar." I suggest that 8 pass line losses or 8 don't pass losses in a row is certainly in the realm of possibility in a random run of Craps. I would beware of the Dice Professor's system. One not only could lose on steroids but it sucks the fun out of playing.

I am obviously suspicious of his "can't lose" method.

"Something improbable HAS to happen to you at the craps table for you to lose."

Hmmmm...should I war-game this against all my Baccarat shoes?

All one has to do is learn how to throw a seven. You don't need a system.

Amplifying on the clear truth of what H of O is saying, IMO being able to throw a seven is one of the most important
things everybody should be working on.Think about it. If you can throw a seven in three rolls or even 5 rolls, do you think
you might have an advantage? I'm biased. It's one of my favorite plays. $15 DP with $30 lay odds. Over and over.

Thank you everyone for your prompt responses. I agree with everyone comments. I have seeing more than my share of 8 points.. mostly because of naturals. I was just curious to see If any of you used this system.. As we are all aware of.. no system will beat the house over the long haul. My experience with chasing loses through some sort of Martingale has never been good. H of O and thnick, I am with both of you about having the seven work for you.

One more thing (or two). Al used to be a member of the old (proboards) forum back in the day. He was a good contributor and had a lot of great input. And like a lot of guys from that era, he's now printed up some business cards calling himself the "professor" and gone into the craps teaching business. I know he's a knowledgeable player, but this system is shot full of holes. He loses me when he talks about winning $50 at a table, then changing casinos and winning $50 on another table, then changing casinos . . . ten times in one day and winning $500 a day. Anyone with a basic understanding of math would just stay at the same casino instead of wearing out shoe leather and burning gas. In his examples we're talking about a random game - so it doesn't freaking matter.

Secondly, as I've said many times before, the vast majority of the guys shouting out betting strategies or showing off their DI "skills" on YouTube are either trying to sell you something or garner followers so they can sell advertising on their channels. And the majority of the stuff they're teaching is pure shit. Worse, once someone "learns" this crap it takes forever to UNLEARN it. Believe me, I get those e-mails, texts, and messages on my phone every freakin' day with links to videos telling me how great this or that toss or betting strategy is - and all I can tell these guys is "Don't do that." Alas, it is what it is. The twenty-first century version of the Grail Quest.

Heavy, as usual you have hit that nail on its head. The Professor Al early in his video makes sure that the viewer understands that there is nothing illegal or wrong with carting his laminated numbers table to the casino and playing his system.

The reason, I suspect, that one must bail after a $50 win and go elsewhere is that the dealers would be laser focused on the idiot who used this system. And all of us know that more than a few of those dealers love to give their guests shit about anything that smacks of a "system." After playing a while with Professor Al's method the ribbing and wisecracking of the dealers would send even the thickest skinned Craps player to another casino.

One other observation of Professor Al's excellent video is where his lovely assistant tosses a few 4s in one hand. Professor Al says over and over and over "It doesn't help you, it doesn't hurt you." Geez, I think the same about watching his video as long as I don't find myself betting one unit on the pass line and one unit on the don't pass line, doubling my losses and adding one unit. Let the laughter begin.

That whole situation reminded me somewhat of John Patrick's excellent "So You Want to be a Gambler" video on Roulette from probably 30 years ago. John recorded the video at Harrah's in Atlantic City. I don't recall the dealerette he used there - he always requested the same gal. We'll call her Laurie. Anyway, John was playing his "Action Numbers" strategy on roulette, which covers much of the board and offers a very good chance of winning. But no matter how many times Laurie spun the marble she could not hit one of John's action numbers. After a few tries she apologies to John and he says, "No, this is perfect. This just shows everyone exactly how it works in the real world. No strategy is perfect. Every system loses at some point of another, and when that happens you have to fall back on money management and discipline and color up and walk away." Classic teaching moment.

(I made this in Photoshop. Feel free to copy it and us it.)

I like playing the Action Numbers. I always keep a Crib Sheet with me in my note pad in case I forget which numbers I need to play.
You put 3 units on the 1-4 double street, 3 units on the 10-13 double street, 2 units on quad numbers 17,18,20 and 21, and put 3 units on the 28-31 double street. This covers the numbers evenly all around the wheel, and is a decent way to play the game.

The other play I use is the; "1st dozen and second dozen" equal amounts on both.

I guess I better move this post over to a Roulette thread.
