If you aren't all that keen about carrying around your own shooting-platform, you can usually just 'borrow' one of those aforementioned unused dealer-platforms that are often found under many craps tables. Slip it under the table at your shooting-position and pull it out just before the dice get to you.

If anyone says anything, use the excuse that it helps you get the dice all the way down to the other end of the table. Also, make sure that it isn't sticking out so far in the aisle that it becomes a tripping hazard for passers-by. That would likely spell an end to your use of their dealer-aids.

This is the best idea if they let you do it! 8-)

I have had several crews in Las Vegas apologize and tell me I can bring my own platform but I can't use theirs. Something about policy because of Insurance. I could sue the casino or company if I fall off of their platform. Isn't it too bad some people are so willing to blame others these days? :(

Anyway, great idea but you can't always count on using the dealers platform in every casino.

Roadrunner put together a pretty good set MANY years ago. We used to have them available for download for free on a couple of different sites. Lord only knows what happened to them. Well, never fear. A former board member (from the good old days) put together a set that I have available for download over on the Crapsfest site still exists. Here's a link to the download. I don't know how good the plans are or whatever, but the price is right.

Yeah, we're rebuilding the crapsfest and axis power craps websites right now. Many of the modules form crapsfest are off line. I'll see if I can find a copy somewhere and put it up on GoogleDrive or someplace where you can download it.

Yeah, that was quick and easy. I zipped the file because it's fairly large. Here you go:
