Re: Help MP- World on CO with ATS and 3x regression?

You make a very good point about playing the Don'ts--MP wrote another article... I can't remember the title or topic but it offered a pointed 'contrarian' thought--that when the 7 comes, the Don't play counts his winnings by ADDING his bets to the payoff, where the PL bettor subtracts ALL his bets ...

Re: Dice Doctor and the Tunica Data Matchsticks to lumber...

MP wrote an article "Will winning 50% of your Passline Points make you rich or... stinking rich ?" .. Very good read btw. Hi Bry, Yeah, that particular piece was part of my How an SRR-6.5 Shooter Can Double and Then Keep Re-Doubling his $1000 Bankroll…With Virtually NO Risk-of-Ruin series...

Re: Help MP- World on CO with ATS and 3x regression?

Hi Darth, I have quite a body of A-T-S content over on the Dice Institute message-board; but the essence of it really boils down to what I posted in the second entry in this thread. Most everyone here usually likes the bumpersticker-length lessons and aren't at all interested in knowing how the sau...

Re: How do you keep dealers interested?

Hi Dork, It turns out that the Wizard's " Bonus Round " dealer-toking discussion took place over on his WIZARD Checks In blog on the Dice Institute message-board. Let me try to summarize it: ~He often uses a 4-step regression on his Place 6-&-8 bets when he is shooting. ~When he works...

Re: Beating the California Craps game

Hi Pointman, When I mentioned our departed member, W7, using a similar approach; I wasn't trying to apportion credit, but rather simply point out that the two of you found a similar way to beat California Craps. I like the fact that you chose to share an advantage-play angle with fellow board-membe...

Re: Beating the California Craps game

If I recall correctly, the now-deceased board-member " W7 " wrote extensively about beating that specific game for several months in a row, until he had a bad encounter with a ne' er do well out in the parking lot. Apparently a bad guy brandished a gun, then Jim brandished a much bigger g...

Re: Help MP- World on CO with ATS and 3x regression?

Hi Dork, I'll start off by reiterating my suggestions from the " ATS " thread: For random -betting, ANY money on the A-T-S wager is a sucker's bet; but for a skilled-shooter , it can be quite effective . To my thinking though, the bet-weight pyramid for the ATS wager should be INVERTED in...

Re: How do you keep dealers interested?

Hi Dork,

Have you ever considered using The Wizard's "Bonus Round" toking-method to keep the dealers 'extremely' interested in the game?

It is highly effective, and goes hand in hand with my "toke-branding" approach.

Hi Dork, For random -betting, ANY money on the A-T-S wager is a sucker's bet; but for a skilled-shooter , it can be quite effective . To my thinking though, the bet-weight pyramid for the ATS wager should be INVERTED in a similar fashion to H's $2-$1-$2 outlay. In fact, I like an even steeper inver...

Here are the stats for the last few books of exponential odds wargaming Book 10 - srr 6.00 starting br $9644, ending br $9786. Won $142. Book 11 srr- 6.49 start br $9786 ending br $8844. Lost $942. Interesting, this is the first case of a decent srr resulting in a loser with EO. I had 2 hands of 20...

Re: $120 Regression play for success on average hands

One question I have for the experts is about how "cumulative probability" relates to this and other regression plays. My thinking is that since most hands are short I give myself a chance to win by placing a lot of numbers early and then regressing both the amount of numbers and the size ...

Re: Exponential Odds Variant

After playing this for a while, it's becoming clear to me why casinos don't generally offer 100x odds. They can really get dinged when an adequately BR'ed player steps up with big units in time for a 50 roll hand or such. Kabooom! I wanna be that guy. Just as most players don't like all of that ick...

Re: Exponential Odds Variant

Nice effort, Americraps, It would be interesting to look at this one from a dollars-invested/dollars-earned basis, as well as the drawdown-spikes it incurs along the way to making its profit...and of course the bankroll required to play it. IIRC, RappingCaptain was using a $50,000 trip-bankroll, wi...

Re: How would you play a maxed out table?

If your bankroll could handle table max betting, would that change your strategy any from what your doing now?? Nope, not at all, not even one little bit. The idea behind advantage-play dice-influencing is to put your money where your over-arching DI advantage IS , and to keep it away from all bets...

Hi lojackd, What I am saying is that if your 7-Out predictive powers are so uncannily accurate; then why putz around red-chipping it with your first Grand Martingale bet set at only $5? Why not start at $25 or even $50? Here's the thing: ~If it works, then ride that bitch like you mean it, hellbent...

Hi lojackd, If, as you say, the dice are more likely to show a 7 on the roll immediately following a dice-off-the-table call; does that apply to the Come-out cycle too? ~If so, wouldn't it make sense to make a huge wager on the Passline ...hoping/anticipating that the very next roll will be a winne...
