Re: Table Charting, Roll Tracking, and Table Trends
22I, Ditto, ditto.. I could not agree more. I have given much thought about responding at all on this thread. I do think that Irish really helps us keep on balance. I usually read his posts more than two times in order to get to the nidus of his thoughts...The spite and venom do make it difficult, h...

Re: One More Look at Regression Strategy
"bankerdude80 What does the regression bettor do when the first three numbers he tosses is non-paying trash" Note that in Heavy's example, there is one horn number....I have no problem seeing one.. My primary, go to set is the standard 3V.. If I start producing an inordinate number of horn...

Re: One More Look at Regression Strategy
Let’s look at a player with a respectable SRR of 1:8 using the V-3 pre-set. For the sake of this example, let’s assume he keeps the dice on axis 100% of the time. Great example heavy. You know I base a great deal of my betting on Regression. This is a nice conservative approach that I may want to i...

Re: Game Speed
If I do place chips down in the come box, I'll also usually leave one hand in the table in front of me and lean over a bit, which is my sign to the stick and dealer that my bets are not all resolved yet. Way cool, 22I, If after all that, if they still start to push the dice out...(In no way can the...

Re: Game Speed
Easy scenario to be caught up in....Even with an experienced dealer, you can be missed in the chaos. Best to put your bet in the come area. They are supposed to ask what it is for...but, we know a busy dealer could miss it. Doesn't happen often but the risk is your bets may be booked as a come bet.....

Re: Enticed to Bolixi
Biloxi does auto buys of 4, 5, 9 and 10, starting at $20. Vig is paid on the back end. This doesn't really change any progressions you may have for 4 and 10, but the 5 and 9 is where it gets interesting. The 15, 35, 75... progression translates to the following in Biloxi 15, 36, 80, 150, 360, 800. ...

Enticed to Bolixi
I have a rare opportunity to visit Bolixi this weekend. Well, it is not rare, it will be my very first visit. Harrahs made it very hard to resist. Will someone post the unique place bet cutoffs that exist there..(As opposed to Vegas) Maybe some of the progressions... I like to do a regression to thr...

Re: Is there really such a thing as a "lucky streak?"
Well, first day in vegas got down 100, second day, down 600. Despite throwing teens I didn’t get paid enough to cover my losses from the table turns and bleeded out slowly all day. Even if I got a part of the roll still stashed, no more playing today. These are the hardest losses, when win enough t...

Memo: If you really managed to get your wife to sincerely enjoy craps, and take up DI practice, and even bought a full sized Craps table for a basement Man Cave, I'd argue that in a way, you are living the dream! I have a full sized table and a man cave. My girlfriend, became that; with the complet...

Re: Is there really such a thing as a "lucky streak?"
Memo - I heard Heavy, and then later N8r, talk about how if you keep rolling your book you eventually find your SRR regressing towards 6 and only the last 720 rolls really count....I am not sure I agree with that. They would be the most valid and what is working now, obviously, but besides taking i...

I occasionally used a place to come to place strategy over the last weekend...
It was a bit more aggressive than yours. In retrospect, your version makes better sense.

Re: Is there really such a thing as a "lucky streak?"
Bentonck, I sure do agree with you....And this does tend to go off track for this thread , but there seems to be some question about validity of DI popping up. There was so much positive results over the last weekend,(trip reports will ensue) I do not need proof. ...It may be positive variance. Who ...

Is that a trend? I bet I’m not the only one suffering from streak shortage?

A ladyfriend once told me I had a short streak...
Is that what you are talking about? If so, then count me in.

Re: Is there really such a thing as a "lucky streak?"
Blackcloud. Yes. It's still a complete fabrication (lie) that he made up to sell nonsense. This a simple probability and variance equation. See mainframe's post. If you can't or don't want to do the math, think about it generalities. Does probability and variance at the craps table tend to favor th...

Re: What's your favorite money management move?
Irish, The break point conversation is interesting and your explanation is clear... Even if no "good" sevens are rolled, just because the shooter got to two or three standard deviations away from expected, it does not have any impact on the statistical probability of the next roll. The pre...

Oops! Make that 98 bucks. I cannot add, even on a good day. I remember that at one time, I could add, but that was so long ago, I cannot remember...
Anyway, you can still make Heavy's 96 bet with two white chip change...
Er, or...Is that four white...?
Any body seen my marbles?

Re: What's your favorite money management move?
Pappy and I were playing at the tables quite a bit at about the time Mad Professor introduced the 204 bet. Not that it was new. All the moves were discovered well before that time (of course), however it was a combination rarely used. When done properly, it is a thing of beauty. Most dealers really...

Dn8'r I really like your detail and step by step decision making process. I know of very few people that can read the table like that. There are some (Nellie types) that have some success, however I feel it is more due to the fact that they are 'off' more than they are 'on'...To this day, I do not ...
