Re: At what point do you determine to play the Pass or Don't?

Thick morning brain here. So number 1 threw 14 numbers and made 1 pass and didn't get the dice back? Or is number 2 the same shooter? I guess it doesn't matter. It's obvious there are decreasing successful rolls and we head for the don'ts. Here's what would have happened to me. I wait and TUMA the f...

Re: At what point do you determine to play the Pass or Don't?

Bet once. If it bites me, I do not continue with it. After all, if it's a 4 or 10 we're talking $41 buck outlay at the minimum. I admit I have bet no 4 or 10 after they have shown six times in a hand and martingaled the bet if I lost. $41 first bet, lose that I go to $152. Have never lost the second...

Re: At what point do you determine to play the Pass or Don't?

Lost number play is one I use now and then. My count is 11 or 12 on a number before I will lay it. That is..the number has not appeared in that many rolls and here it comes. I do wait after the number one roll. No bullfrogging gonna get me. Another thing to consider is Ronald Graham's craps analysis...

I'm with six shooter on this one. Charting for 7's coming closer. Track rolls from shooters should look like this /. If a line down your tracked rolls starts to look like this \..reverse course.

Re: Would YOU Shoot from the Don'ts?

Yes. Pulling those don't bets and changing them to place bets sometimes gets the dealer reaction.."Are you nuts? You have the best bets in the house." Not if you are starting to throw them numbers.

Re: Would YOU Shoot from the Don'ts?

Good question. If one can influence the dice on the right side, why would you darkside? The payoffs on the don't side are either flat to the money or if you lay odds, you get the reverse as in no 10 for $51 gets you $25. On the other hand, you can get your profits real fast if you can bring out a se...

Re: Regression Math

It's an ideal. Heavy's perfect casino. But it doesn't work in real life because even if you have an SRR of 7..which is huge..you just have those PSO's and four roll hands mixed in with the 20 rollers even if you are premiere DI. Or sometimes you don't get the 20 roll hands at all for a weekend. If y...

Re: 7 Things I Wish They'd Told Me BEFORE I Discovered Craps

Ok..I'll go along with this. 1. If a guy dies at the table and falls under it, do not step on him while shooting. 2. Always tip the cocktail girl even if you just want water. 3. Always play a buck or two for dealers even if you are treading water. 4 Use the 15 minute rule. If you are losing walk awa...

Re: Rolls for testing a betting system.

Yep. It's amazing. As to tell if a DI is on or off..that's a tough one. V3 set you could look for 11 or 3..but that could just be a couple rolls. Also is he/she hitting the same spot..you know all the signs. But sometimes you get a long roll anyway. Either way if you use regression, you have two plu...

Re: Roulette - Heavy's Sit-Down Game of Choice

Years ago before the ban on US online gambling, I had a few bucks and went to CASINOMEISTER's site to determine which were the most honest online gambling sites. Finding one I thought was good, I deposited a couple hundred bucks and began to play craps. And I won. My $200 went to $1500 playing back ...

Re: Dark side strategies

Ah, the chop house bet. A random shooter on a cold table. Maybe a $7 yo on that big DC bet? Ok..if you're going $96 across which means you are going to have either $18 or $15 against $100, right? So let's say the DC lands on the 9. So the 9 hits, you lose $100 fast and make $21? You basically need t...

Re: Rolls for testing a betting system.

In my experience the ricochet works best when there are icicles hanging from the table. It is death on a warm to hot table streak. If a 6 or 8 comes out, I never use it. I don't like idea, also of immediately laying against a come out number. How many bullfrogs does it take to screw up your major pl...

Re: Rolls for testing a betting system.

The ricochet is a John Patrick system of don't play. Summary: Shooter comes out with a point. You lay against the shooter's point and make a DC bet. If yr DC bet moves to a number, take down your lay bet.You now have a don't number. It's a hedge system. Your lay bet is protection against the 7. Not a...

Re: Strategy of boxcars

How does a dice setting which produces those kinds of bets figure in if you can hit them more regularly? I guess then it isn't really a hedge bet. Then..does a six and eight bet become the hedge? Yeesh.

Re: Strategy of boxcars

Sure. Hedging just makes more $ for the house. Many forget how many times it goes against them because you get a nice addition to yr BR and a shot of endorphin pleasure when that hi-lo hits. And sometimes the hedges just hit one after another..like hop bets. If you set for them..like x6s and are abl...

Re: Pressing Your Bets

Because when I am shooting I also have a PL non removeable contract bet in the mix. So let's say I am at $30 6 and 8. On a $10 table I have $70 at risk. One hit at $35 and I bring 6 and 8 to look like $18 each. Now I have $46-$35..$11 at risk. With an RR I have no PL bet. So $36 at risk..one hit is ...

Re: Pressing Your Bets

anything will work sometimes. Probably OHCM on randies after the 2nd roll (avoiding come out 7-11 and the PSO) ..using the DC. Or some use the doey/don't but yr locked into a PL bet. I just go $18 6 and 8, same bet..so I've recovered $21 and am in the pit for $15 on a shooter. Just starting at a tab...
