Re: How do YOU play the hardways?
I've been trying to work in a HW strategy to my betting and what I've settled on lately is to bet the HW as the numbers are thrown, and upping the bet by $1 each time the number is tossed. So the first time an even box number is thrown, regardless of whether it came hard or not, I'll toss out a $1 ...

You cannot "crap out" in craps. Your roll only ends with a 7, which is called a 7-out.
I'm not really sure I'm following all of this. By "fair odds", I assume you meant "full odds". Can you explain more please?

Re: SLOTS
It's not the total cash out amount that determines whether the casino will generate a W2G for you. Taxes are only based on hand pays > $1200. So you could have 100 spins that pay you $100 each and cash out for $10k and you shouldn't get a W2G. But if you win a jackpot of >$1200, you will get one. Sa...

Re: Enticed to Bolixi
Biloxi does auto buys of 4, 5, 9 and 10, starting at $20. Vig is paid on the back end. This doesn't really change any progressions you may have for 4 and 10, but the 5 and 9 is where it gets interesting. The 15, 35, 75... progression translates to the following in Biloxi 15, 36, 80, 150, 360, 800. I...

Re: Is there really such a thing as a "lucky streak?"
Been thinking about this lately myself. As Heavy mentions, tip-toe in and gauge how things are looking to start. Then progress up to your committed level of play (mine happens to be $66 even, or one of my preferred regression plays starting with $102 even if things are looking particularly positive ...

Re: The bets for the dealer
Ask for $1 chips as part of your buy in. I've adopted Heavy's line of telling the dealer I need some $1 chips for dealer bets. That gets you off on the right foot with them right off the bat.

I would just toss out $6 and say Two Way CE. They'll figure it out.

Re: Is there really such a thing as a "lucky streak?"
I once suggested to MD, that he incorporate something such that as the book hits 720, on the next input, the first toss of the book gets eliminated and the latest toss is added to the end (1 and 720 respectively) In this way, one would have a never ending fresh book of rolls as one progresses... Welcome back Larry!
Hopefully Irish will share that strategy with us soon. I seem to remember coming across a discussion on it at one time, but can't find it, like you.

I guess since Heavy asked me to mind the fort while he's in Vegas for the next seminar, I should chime in here to remind you guys to tone it down just a bit. There are Facebook groups and other message boards where that name calling and related BS is welcome and even encouraged, but not here. If you...

Re: Is there really such a thing as a "lucky streak?"
I posted something late last night that wasn't' even *that* politically charged, but decided to retract my post because this is primarily a forum about craps, betting strategies, dice influencing, casino conditions, and gambling. I'd rather not get to far into the weeds of religion, politics, or ev...

Fishing for Salmon in Alaska was a lot of fun for me. The ones that were worth keeping, I took to a local processor that dried and prepped it and shipped it back home. Man, that was was some damn good salmon.

Re: DP-Across Cant Miss?
Since this discussion is about betting, has anybody experienced the casino now allowing you to make place bets after the number has been established? It's not a push bet. It is a basic PL bet and you can take full and correct payout odds AFTER the pt. is established. Cherokee allows it. So it's not...

Re: DP-Across Cant Miss?
I see your point, Heavy, with the $90 6/8. For clarification purposes though, isn't the OHCM set up with the 6 and 8 each 1/2 of the DP? Somewhat like your $48 (or $54) 6/8 and $100 DP? I have only played the OHCM a few times on RRs. OHCM is bets on the 6 and 8 that are each EQUAL to the amount of ...
