Re: The Soyonara Bet

I agree, when I hit my win goal - I go. I don't need to win another $20 or $40 with the Sayonara Bet. While I understand Patrick's strategy, it doesn't work for me, simply as I generally never lay a number. My exit strategy revolves around making the same schedule of bets that have been winning. whe...

Re: "The Great Math Mystery"

I thought Jesus came to dinner in the Millennium Falcon? Someone saved Admiral Ackbar for another trap last year........... Wasn't me. I was at the tables, executing Darth's Don't Grind (the DDG - aka the Sith Saber Swallower, aka S-cubed). I've got no more math for it - than any of the other guys b...

I like the world on the come-out and have added the Hi lo on occasion as well and use my X6 mutant. For me I want a back - to - back hit, regardless of whether I'm on the PL or DP, so I will press up most of the winnings from that first hit in order to score on the second. A few times its been fabul...

Re: Choppy tables. What’s your trick to beat it?

PVW Congrats on the nice win! I would probably try a DP with single odds, and be poised to use it as insurance to go up on the 6 & 8. If I get a hit, then I pull down the lay odds, and look for another hit; or if its really choppy, I might take down the six and 8 and place the point to cancel th...

Re: Video Pokered

I like the Wizard site as he does a super job; what's the difference in percentages between holding the pair & the two pair? I believe the Bob Dancer card for deuces wild says to only hold the pair, not the two pairs for the very reason you state - more chances to hit the pay table. I will look ...

Yes, exactly why my leash is shorter than MP's, as I won't go five deep to net five units, but I will try a second DP on the same shooter, D.N8r

Re: Choppy tables. What’s your trick to beat it?

DanF....... some good comments above. Definitely read all of MPs content on the darkside. When I first experimented with it, I really liked the CT-SL method, but as SIA said waiting for the first point as a trigger means a lot of idle time as it might take 5-6 shooters before that first point is mad...

Re: How Do YOU Maximize YOUR Return on Dealer Tokes?

I like the two way hardway parlay also. I piggyback it, press both to a nickel on the first hit, so they get some $$$, next hit I ask the stick what they'd like me to do with it. This sometimes gets interesting on the next hit, as the stick & dealers seldom agree. When I say what'll we do? If it...

Re: Live table vs. Simulation

PaceCar, Nice line, if they all leave - you can choose your spot. Feeling funky, channel that funk and try shooting from the don'ts. Or minimum bet on the pass line and just "practice" - look for a good LZ, wring out your toss, gather intel for next time. There's been a few times, I've act...

Re: Are there markers that indicate a hot hand in progress?

Actually Schmarkers work 50% of the time.......so when you see a Schmarker go with it - just be ready to go the other way when you see the next Schmarker....... Thnick - thanks for the plug - being ready to go both ways - means being ready, as some times you don't realize you've seen a Schmarker.......

Re: First Dark side play short Trip Report

There's a couple of way I tip when darksiding First way is always the hand in when you color up. Though I would rather toke during the session, as I want their attention. Dealers look away from darksiders, just as players do; but toke them as you want them on your side. Hence my way I like to do is ...

Not having a "Stop loss" point or martingaling is likely a different set of plots - that might be a analytical cliff ....... What's the rule of thumb - even on a cold table someone will get a good hand once around the circuit. So if that's the case - you'll have more pulses below the X-axi...

After reading about BankerDude's flurry of aces in practice, I started looking for MP's Field Harvest strategy on DiceSetter, then Google, to review; but found this thread; which I'll bump up...... First, those that play with me know, I seldom bet the field, except when I sense a trend (yeah, I know...

Re: OK if the don't better cheers his 7-out wins?

I think you stay low profile, though if there's a majority of don't players at the table, it can go insane. I posted this on the older Proboards site; but will summarize again. I believe it was during one of the CrapsFests. I think Memo, Deadcat, and Lakewood were at a 14 foot table at Rio with me a...
