Re: Realistic Win Goals and Bankroll management for hobbyist dice influencers?
You said you spent the next two days slowly losing all $472, if you enjoyed whatever you played, I'd say okay, but it sounds like you didn't. Did you get value out of that $472? You could've taken your wife to a nicer restaurant or show. My point is, you'll have a positive memory from the experienc...

Re: Realistic Win Goals and Bankroll management for hobbyist dice influencers?
Small antecedent story: A gal I worked with went to S/B for two nights. An hour after she arrived, she hit a $10 grand jackpot. When she left two days later, she had given back the $10 grand plus all she brought with her. Yea, I worked with folks that dumb (and it may have rubbed off on me). Shooti...

Realistic Win Goals and Bankroll management for hobbyist dice influencers?
Hey all! I just read a thread called "revisiting the Kelly Criterion" and I read a lot of well-worded advice regarding bankroll and bet size for advantage play. Heavy also had some very good points in that thread and in related threads. I am not a professional gambler. I don't intend to ev...

SHOOTITALL: Thanks for Advice.
Is it true that any "opposing bets", even partial hedges, are really tracked accordingly by the pit boss so that your rating isn't artificially inflated?

Re: Revisiting "one hit can't miss"
Shootitall: thanks for your overall advice and feedback. Do you think the OHCM strategy is a good way to "run up comps" by putting pretty high stakes down. So lets stay my total bankroll for a particular session is $500 and I just want to preserve bankroll and run up comps. Should I do a 1...

Re: Revisiting "one hit can't miss"
Hi All, As far as the setup for the classic Shoot it all "OHCM" play...when you first setup, on a comeout roll, do you put chips down on the don't pass as well as the 6 and 8 and ask the dealer to have the 6 and 8 working on the come-out? Or do you wait until the point is established with ...

Revisiting "one hit can't miss"
Hey all, I tried to do a string-search of the forum for an explanation of the "one hit can't miss" betting strategy. I see alot of references to this "play" or "OHCM". But I can't seem to find a detailed explanation of what the bet combo entails? Is it a DP hedged by a ...

Re: The First Time You Walk Up to a Table
Okay my story is that my first time at a Craps table was a little bit planned out or "pre-meditated". The first time I ever wagered money at a casino in my entire life was at Foxwoods in Connecticut. I put $20 in progressive "penny slot' and after a few spins I won $470 which I procee...

Are "2" "3" "11" and "12" stickman bets prop bets?
All, I have been playing craps since 2010 and I've come to understand most of the bets. I am not 100% familiar with all of the bets on the center of the layout by the stickman because they are really low EV bets. I know there are a number of "proposition bets" that are "one roll"...
