I don't think it matters where you position yourself or your chips. I play a lot of DP right next to the Stick and its amazing how many flingers still hit my chips on the way to the wall. Errr should I say: fateful way to the wall, as it seems hitting my darkside chips just puts the whammie on them....

Second nickel...... When I'm setting I've encountered the Don't players with the chip towers - use it to bear down harder. They keep stacking and calling for the seven. I don't understand why a don't player feels compelled to buck the odds on a DI, yeah sure sometimes they win, most they don't. Nice...

Recently I have seen more and more Don't players actively rooting for the seven; mainly twenty somethings, though not always. It always seems to torque off the shooters-who lose it; and is frankly unnecessary as the dice have no ears. I'm more quiet at the table as why talk when you've got the Force...

I'm with Irish & H, leave the don't out there, you dodged the 7/11, so if you have the guts for hanging in against that, you might as well hang in against the number - since you have the edge. Instead of thinking of taking it down, try thinking of betting another don't.....

When you set the initial DP, and a 7/11 knocks it off; do you replace? If so, o you replace more than once?

Also, once the point is set, and eventually made with no six/eight preceding; do you re-bet the DP again?

Wow, liking all this dark side love.............. Rolled thru my fav MGM National a few days ago, and lo and behold of the five open tables there were darksiders at each of the five. So after numerous trips to there being the sole darksider; there are now allies. Profitable allies...... pick the tab...

When you're tossing and elect to WOTCO - its like poking the casino in the eye. I've seen DIs do it and the heat ratchets up FAST. Its not pleasant. Much better to either make the come-out a separate opportunity; or change sets to get a different Fire Bet number or ATS. I never WOTCO, D.N8r

My focus has evolved to being a more aggressive presser of the box numbers that repeat, which continues to challenge me so I've simplified the PL for the present so I can focus on that place bets. While I might never see an $18 eight pressed up to $1800 any time soon again; watching it...

When I'm shooting on the PL, I start with double odds on the first point; regress to single odds on the second point. My thinking is to stay ahead if don't make the second point. Then 2x on third, 3x on fourth, 4x on fifth point, etc.... Seems to work for me and minimizes the mental gyrations, D.N8r

London, Agree, I'd never drop a $1 on it for a randy. I see the four outsider numbers as strictly an add-on for a DI. I like those four simply because I toss a lot of horn numbers - usually in bunches or alternately, so this is a way to play them for the length of the hand and not just ride/replenis...
