Re: Exponential Odds Variant

So I decided to add a wrinkle to the EOBS2 (exponential Odds Bootstrapper 2). I added a wrongside element to the betting. I chose the Heavy 7. Its a negative progression that goes like this 1 unit, 2units, lay out, 9 units, 18 units, 36 units, 72 units, quit. If you bust out, you lose 138 units. My ...

Re: Exponential Odds Variant

Hi Tgold- Here's what Rapping Captain wrote when describing his Exponential Odds system- Always work with 4 or more established numbers. It takes at least 2 established numbers to over come the 6 ways to make a 7. That is there are 6 ways to make for a 7 loss and, in the worse case scenario of estab...

Re: Heavy's Six and Eight Progression

23 sixes! That one would be etched in memory forever. Sweetness. I hope some players had the 6 up to house max on that one.

Re: Exponential Odds Variant

I just finished the first book of this run and its srr was 6.49. The above press schedule ($10 units with starting BR of $10K) won $1593. The best hand was 28 rolls, and it won $1239. the most I repeated any number was 6x (on the 6,8, and 9), so nothing earth shattering was going on in this book. St...

Re: Exponential Odds Variant

OK, RC is up there laughing at me. The press schedule that I posted on Jan 13th is no good. I did 3 books starting with $10K and ended up left with a $2291. Definitely not working. Granted, the 3 books were all under srr of 6.0, but I can see that the press schedules were not optimal. Still, I had s...

Re: How Would You Bet This Hand?

Thats a nice profit, MP. I didn't know that you used the field harvest on other DIs. That's cool. Missthis- I was using a 2v 22 on top 31 facing. Most of the ace deuces were both on axis/single pitch, but a few were left die off. If I was in the casino and someone I didn't know tossed this hand, I m...

How Would You Bet This Hand?

....And How Much Would You Make? WHile practicing today at home I ran into a weird hand that made me think of the H mans horn progressions. 3,5,3,8,3,3,11,3,3,5,5,3,3,8,4,5,3,3,7. After posting this I realized that toss was a CO7 and the hand should be continued, but now that I'm typing, I think I'l...

Re: 7 Heavy System

I'll take a shot at answering your questions, Tgold- Q)1- If the shooter comes out with a "2", that ends step 3, and now you go to step 4. Q)2 My guess is that the laying off the bet is a way to keep the progression cheap, but it's only my guess. It seems funny to lay out a step but thats ...

Re: Exponential Odds Variant

As usual, H has hit the nail on the head. One or two good hands with lots of repeaters can really make the difference. What RC kept saying was that you lose your small bets and win your large bets. Translation- a really short hand doesn't do too much damage, and when you get that monster hand, the p...

Re: Exponential Odds Variant

OK since reading a few old posts that Heavy has revived, I got motivated to start wargaming with a new variant on Exponential Odds. For beginning, I'd like to recognize the Rapping Captain and the fantastic work did with his EO systems. There were ten of them that I know of, although I really am onl...

Re: Another Don't System

Woflbyte was a cool dude- He had some very intense systems. I never saw that post until today, and no, I've never driven a Prius. Hi LS- As Heavy breathes life into these old threads, I am continually amazed by just how many systems I have tried, loved, hated, then given up and forgotten about, Lol!...

THE TWO FOR 1, TWO PLAYER PLAY- Here's a nifty little 2 player play, I thought of while in the shower today- especially good for when you bring your wife to the casino, it works even if she hates craps. Player 1 is either a DI having a bad day, frying pan equipped teammate, or a non skilled assistan...

Re: Blackjack - The game most craps players love to hate

They look for people who are watching the cards closely, people moving their lips, people who seem to be concentrating too hard, or skipping their bets from high to low. If they suspect that you are counting, they will count along with you and see if you bet with the count. It takes at least a half ...

Re: Regression VS Martingale

Welcome to my pain, LS! In your above post you have summed it up perfectly! Since most of the time Martingale systems are being used on single outcome bets (such as the PL or DP), I think most bettors haven't really explored or considered using the various Martingale variants* as much as the Regress...

Re: Regression VS Martingale

HI LS, I get your point (and agree) about how they are used differently to lock in profit, define max loss, etc. I think people think of regressions as "safer" than Martingales, but I'm not sure they are neccessarily so. It depends on how many steps are involved in each. Most regressions a...
