Re: Micro Bankroll Betting - OMG! A $1 Table!

By the way - if I owned a casino in downtown Vegas I'd park a couple of tables right by the front door of the casino and run a $3 game 24/7. The tables would be packed and that would draw in a crowd. You'd make a ton of money because of the short payoffs on $3 place bets.

Re: Micro Bankroll Betting - OMG! A $1 Table!

It it's a double odds game you can play $3 on the line and still get correct odds on everything. This might be a good game to run a place-to-come strategy on, with $18 across and playing $3 Come bets. Use the place bets and whatever they win to take odds on the Come bets that travel. Once you get a ...

Re: Micro Bankroll Betting - OMG! A $1 Table!

I recall a session MANY years ago at the Golden Nugget. I was SL1. Irish was SR1. South Shore Swamie was at SR2. A "trailer" we'd picked up who wanted to attend the seminar but didn't have any $$ to register was next to me at SL2. The trailer (a guy who follows your trail from casino to ca...

Re: Micro Bankroll Betting - OMG! A $1 Table!

Yeah, I've seen a lot of players buy in for $20 at this type of game and play nothing but prop bets.

Re: Micro Bankroll Betting - OMG! A $1 Table!

Participation in this thread has been overwhelming. I will try to restrain myself. Here's another approach for you guys who have limited bankroll but don't like that even money payoff on incorrectly sized place bets: First bet: $1 PL with $2 odds. If that bet wins parlay the pass line bet to $2 with...

Re: How would you play the best game in town?

Well, here's the deal IMHO. If there's no vig on the four and ten then it's a bet with no house edge. Taking DI out of the picture, over the long run you're going to end up dead even at that game. That is assuming you don't have the common sense to use some loss limits, win goals, and money manageme...

Re: 1,000X odds at Riviera

I stayed at the Riviera once (didn't make that mistake again) back in the mid-80's, right after they filed their FIRST bankruptcy. Yes, that was an adventure. I actually moved out of the Riviera and over to the Westward Ho on my last trip there - back in the days of the Ho Dog. The Stardust and the ...

Re: 1,000X odds at Riviera

Last time I played there I got barked at as soon as I started setting the dice. Considering its reputation as a grind joint I didn't bother to go back. I suspect this move is one of desperation, one that will be followed in the months to come with them filing for reorganization or some such thing, f...

LOL. It won't do squat to improve the attitude of the dealers, though.

Heavy's 6 and 8 Place to Come Heat Seeker

I've mentioned the "Heat Seeker" before but I'm not sure if I've post any of it's versions (and there are several of them) here on the new forum. This is my original version, which starts out with a Pass Line bet and place bets on the six and eight. It's set up like many "systems,&qu...

Micro Bankroll Betting - OMG! A $1 Table!

Okay, you tried the Mini Bankroll Betting approach ( https://axispowercraps.com/crapsforum/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=555 ) with your $120 Buy in and ended up down $70 before pulling the plug. You now have $50 left to play with. You get in the car and leave the casino and, as luck would have it, find y...

Re: Mini-Bankroll Betting

Okay, I'm going to toss out a couple of suggestions. Suggestion 1. $10 DP followed by a $5 DC. Wait for a decision on both. Suggestion 2. $6 DP. Establish the point then place $6 each on the six and eight. This is SIA's one-hit-can't-miss play. Suggestion 3. Dust off the old "Heat Seeker and pl...

Re: Mini-Bankroll Betting

Okay, okay. Table minimum is $5. Make it a 3-4-5X odds game. Triple on the 12 on the Field. Standard 30-1 and 15-1 prop payouts. Not that you should be betting any of them.

Mini-Bankroll Betting

Here's a simple premise for you. You are an experienced player but due to the current economic state you can only muster about $120 for your buy-in. You have NO reserves. You can re-charge your bankroll once every 2 weeks - a total of $240 a month. If you run through the entire $120 you're on your w...

Re: 100X Odds - Gimmick or Benefit?

With Colorado's goofy casino laws I'm surprised they'd let anyone bet $100 on ANY bet - including one with no house edge.

No, the guy I'm thinking about (don't know his name) is an Elvis Presley look-alike who is well known to the dealers. Apparently this is his usual m.o.

Re: How would you play the best game in town?

I'm reluctant to even talk about how great the games are in Albuquerque. I can envision the crowds descending on the tables and ruining it for all of us. Then again - maybe not. I know last time we had a group get together out there we had a bit of negative reaction from the casino - although I thin...

Re: 100X Odds - Gimmick or Benefit?

This reminds me of a story I've told before on the old board - about the guy I saw once who bought in for $200 - all black - and placed $100on the Pass Line and $100 on the Yo - tossed the eleven on the come out, picked up his pass line winner and said $1600 and down on the eleven. Then said "p...
