Re: 3+Capping w/JP's "Ricochet System" & MP's ..Testing...#'
It's my understanding from conversations with others that MP has been testing a number of fairly well known strategies in search of the "best" way to play when a known DI has the dice. Let me get my crystal ball out for a moment. Ah. There it is. The best way to play is with an initial ste...

Sounds to me like you took a fairly complex system and complicated it even more. Personally, I don't think I could keep track of all of the bets, when to progress, when to take action down, etc.

Re: SLOTS
Depends on the win. If I am getting what I refer to as "tease" hits - say 4 - 20 coins - I'll continue to play as long as I'm getting some sort of hit every 4 - 6 pulls - up to 50% or so of my win. On the flip side, if I hit one for 200 coins - $1000 on a $5 machine - I'll play it down to ...

Those SIDE BETS We Love to Play!
Show me a table full of DI's in Vegas and I'll show you a layout with the FIRE bet on it. No FIRE bet in that casino? Then I'd be looking for that All, Tall, or Small layout. Neither of those layouts available? Then just listen for the hop bettors. Yeah, we crapsters love our "action" bets...

Working on the Come Out (WOTCO)
Well, Irish caught on real quick that I was bringing up some of the much-discussed topics from the old boards and recycling them here. Why? Well, we have a bunch of old timers and a few newbies on the board and a lot of those old discussions will be NEW to the newbies. Hell, most of you old timers h...

What is your "trigger" for pressing your bets?
And while we're at it - how much do you press them by? Let's assume it's a $10 game. Tell us what numbers you have placed (if you are a place bettor). Then tell us when and how much you press - and why. Yeah, I know. Eighty percent of you are going to say you don't press until you've regressed so le...

Re: What's your betting strategy?
This is a "sometimes" strategy for me that sort of has the same effect as memo's $10 four and ten play he adds. You'll need to track what numbers hit because you're not going to do a lot of pressing early on. Start out with $64 across. If you get a hit on an inside number it's "same b...

Grits is around here somewhere. Saw a post from him on Facebook today. He and the grandson had been out at the range shooting guns all day. Regardless of the fact that he is from Massachusetts, Grits is a true Son of the South.

Caribbean Stud Poker
Okay, I'll admit that I'm surprised no one has brought this game up - for a couple of reasons. I've played it on occasion - often at the $25 level - and I've never lost a lot of money at it. In fact, more often than not I managed to quit while I was ahead. Caribbean Stud is in just about every casin...

What's your betting strategy?
Okay, I'll admit it. One of the most frustrating things about teaching the seminars - and particularly when it comes to teaching betting strategies - was the fact that no matter how well a particular strategy worked out in the dealer school - most attendees quickly fell back into their old habits on...

Re: A Don't Pass Survival Kit
Probably attacked by cats and carried off into the desert after spilling all of that shrimp cocktail on his pants. (You had to be there, folks). I do have a copy of Professor H's old DP progression. As I call he posted this after locking up a significant win on a 14 consecutive seven-out session. He...

Re: Baccarat
The card rolling/bending/tearing thing with a lot of the Asian players is all about delayed gratification, I think. Will have to digest your getting strategy a bit before commenting. Too many things on the plate to do it right now. Maybe someone else will chime in.

Re: Baccarat
In Macau the players "roll" the cards back, essentially mutilating them. Frequently they'll tear the cards or just flat-out rip them apart. I heard or read somewhere that Macau casinos use something like 15,000 decks of Baccarat cards a day.

Re: Blackjack - The game most craps players love to hate
Okay, it's taken me awhile to get back to this post simply because I didn't have TIME to get back to it. Looks like I have about fifteen minutes to devote to it so we'll see how it goes. Like a lot of folks, I used to think card counting was something ridiculously hard to learn. Indeed, some of the ...
