Depends where you play. In all Atlantic City casinos they are required to round up, so your money is best bet on 6/8. Some casinos only round up the outside numbers, and some will only round 4/10.

Quite a few places in Las Vegas will allow you to lay 4/10 with vig on win only, while requiring it up front for 5/6/8/9. No idea why the discrepancy, although they likely do the same thing for buying the 5/9.
