Re: Bubble Craps

He said in his post that he specifically was playing sic-bo.

By the way, the only way I can see to "hop the sevens" in sic-bo is to make a "two number" bet, which has the same edge as big red in craps - 16.67%. yikes!

Re: Baccarat

It works the same in blackjack, which is why counters look for high penetration. Suppose you have a bucket of marbles, and you know there is 1 black marble for every 9 red marbles in the bucket. You start with 100 marbles total (meaning 10 black and 90 red) and keep drawing marbles. With each red ma...

Re: The point is established, What is your strategy?

You should lay as many odds as you can if you are the one jumping over the 7/11 hurdle. That hurdle is the don't side's disadvantage (obviously) and laying odds reduces the overall edge on that. If you're able to side step that hurdle instead of jumping over it, so to say, then it's better to not la...

Re: Baccarat

It's much easier for dealers to pay even money than to have to figure out commission. I'm not sure how it works in Biloxi, but in AC they like to add up all the commission and keep track of it for each player over the course of a shoe. This adds more calculation problems, plus it creates another iss...

Re: Baccarat

EZ Baccarat actually has a lower edge than traditional baccarat. EZ: 1.02% http://wizardofodds.com/games/baccarat/appendix/6/#ezbaccarat Traditional: 1.06% http://wizardofodds.com/games/baccarat/ The trade-off is that in exchange for not paying commission, a 3-card banker win with a total of 7 is a ...

I am NOT spending MY time at the table to win a pissy $2 or $4 - Then go for the gusto and do not call no-action on a don't bet! Sell it to me, it already beat the sheriff and his deputy, I'll lay odds and book the house all the way to the cage. If you are buying somebody else's already traveled DC...

Re: Do you toke the dealers? If so, do you have a toke strat

Depends where you play. In all Atlantic City casinos they are required to round up, so your money is best bet on 6/8. Some casinos only round up the outside numbers, and some will only round 4/10.

Re: Laying the point.

Quite a few places in Las Vegas will allow you to lay 4/10 with vig on win only, while requiring it up front for 5/6/8/9. No idea why the discrepancy, although they likely do the same thing for buying the 5/9.

don't need no stinkin' math. If you don't have a simulator, just keep track of your playing. When you are done, relive the moment...would you have made more on your rolls my way. Intellectual inertia is seldom overcome by numbers placed on a screen by others. If you are good enough to throw dice in...

Re: Bubble Craps

I noticed at a slots only casino near me they have put in a extra cube (Bubble Craps) for sic-bo, anybody noticed if that makes a difference? That's what they have at MD Live. It doesn't seem to make any difference in the craps game. The seven comes along quite frequently on the three dice e-craps ...

Re: Bubble Craps

I played the organic game recently (different than shoot to win, but still a bubble game) and won 7 of 8 bets. I bet 1 DC per "shooter" immediately after the point was established. 5 of 6 winners at $15, 2 of 2 winners at $20 = +$100. There were people next to me betting heavy across and w...

Just think of all the times he takes his established DC down and puts a new DC, only to have the 7 roll then. Instead of winning $10 he's losing $10. WTG!

Maddog, do you find scripting WinCrapsPro much easier than WinCraps Classic?

I'm sure there is a learning curve involved but it looks a bit easier to read at the very least.

Not really. You are taking $320 and down, but then factor in the 2 losing $20 hopping 7 and losing $20 horn = net $260 - same as Dave.

AtGame7 wrote:Are you not just as well off to take everything down and hop the 7's for $20 each and a $20 horn bet?
No because a box number could be rolled, then a 7. You would lose $80 and then miss out on the other 5 box numbers you took down.

Yea, I had already researched this previously because there's a casino that regularly sends me a "free ace" coupon with a $100 max bet.
