DF, you still out there tearing up the Don'ts with your cow-tipping? Or back to the flat bet + odds? Write us a trip report from time to time buddy I really liked exploring your cow-tipping stuff!

Re: Odds, probabilities, math and reality. Does it add up?
If you don't press much, you won't be sad to see your bets swiped away after a long hand. I rarely get past 1 press, maybe spread out just a touch from 6/8 to 5/9 and when I have a hand I haven't racked the most profit, but I'm generally quite happy with what I kept considering what was at risk. The...

Re: Dodging bullets / playing the dont pass using MP's strat
You could (in theory) be at a craps pit, hear the cheers of a table, walk up (observe if it is a sloppy, random roller) and ask the dealer how many points the shooter has hit- and then "wong" in and bet the DP at the apppropriate level you outlined in dodging bullets. You could be placing...

+1 on watching the don't bets, make sure they don't take them away when they shouldn't! I haven't been playing very long and have already seen this happen several times.

Re: Critique My Simple Don't Strategy
The thing about loss limits vs just buying in with what you were comfortable losing didn't make sense to me either at first. After giving it a fair shake over 10+ sessions last time out, I get it now. It allows you to leave the table not feeling so crushed. Being able to pull the plug with half or s...

Yea, it seems like you just scare too many small joints AHigh, a combination of betting big and having a system that they don't know enough about probably scares em. Probably just have to take your play to some of the bigger places in the area, plenty around

Re: Crapless craps
If you bring in a pad and pen to track faces in that casino will they trespass you as well? If they are worried about dice that have been in use too long and the wear on them is causing non standard outcomes, that is protected by the fact that the bowl contains 5 dice that get scrambled every hand. ...

Re: Crapless craps
I use crap less tables when I can open them up or they are sparsely populated. Had my 2 best rolls of my last trip on crap less tables, mostly because they were empty and I got to get grooved in a bit. The other thing was I was mostly playing the darkside and it was nice to be forced to play rightsi...

Re: The Craps Lesson by Gene Robinson??
If you dig around enough you will find that most right side betting strategies (that people like to use around here) that are profitable gravitate towards two ideas: Pass line with odds + your top 2 box numbers with a pressing schedule that starts after more than doubling your layout (except big odd...

The top way is straight sixes, the sets of pips all make straight lines
The bottom way is parallel sixes, the set of pips make parallel lines.

It is an interesting find, but I don't think there is any practical application to traditional casino games.

Re: Hedging and Getting Past the Come Out Roll on the Don't
Moed, I have found this series of articles VERY enlightening when it comes to shooting from the don't. http://www.dicesetter.com/mp/dmad143dontpart1.htm The links to browse from one article to the next are kind of broken on dicesetter.com I use google to search the title and just increment the part ...

Re: Hedging and Getting Past the Come Out Roll on the Don't
Gotta go with DF on this one. High edge wagers just eat away at your bankroll, hedge or not. The rare exception is a crazy signature number. Typically you shouldn't have to look at anything worse than a 5/9 place or field bet to target said number though. If you are betting RR, you can calculate you...

This is certainly interesting. That set you are talking about does not appear to be a good set for this action. You are shooting for a primary face ONLY! Any other on-axis combination leads to a box number! I think if you want to do something like that, after the comeout, you would want to use the s...
