Re: Sports Betting Seminars? Who's interested?
Baccarat is so bloody boring though in my mind. Random coin tosses with a bit of vig thrown in. I know there are all sorts of progressions you can bet and patterns you can search for to join the dots, but I'd much rather play something where I have to make a skilled decision of sorts - e.g BJ or VP....

Shockin bet. They have it at the IP Biloxi. As alluded to above HA is the same as chance of rolling a 7, so 16.67%

Re: Supreme Court Opens Way for States to Legalize Sports Betting
Yes Noah from England as I am sure you probably knew. Just a different mindset and what you are used to I guess. To me, sports betting is all about value and edge. If Uncle Sam comes knocking for his cut all the time, then you have almost certainly got no edge over the game. It would be a bit like o...

Re: Supreme Court Opens Way for States to Legalize Sports Betting
Just read some details:
"Casinos are required to withhold 25 percent of winnings that exceed $5,000 and are at least 300 times the wager for federal income tax."
That sucks if some kind of large exotic multiple bet lands for you :O

The DC angle to this is a good twist and stops you getting in a rut via a load of come out 7s

Did the metro driver in Japan gladly accept your tip? I've never been there but read that it's not really a custom over there and sometimes may be refused.

Re: Buying the Five and Nine
Can't see why the dealers should be so confused by the numbers in MS as the 5 and 9 buy bet is automatic and they must be doing similar numbers all the time.

Are you playing to win or playing for comps?
Yes, of course I am being facetious, but that is another point to add into the put bet mix.

Also complicated by comparison with buy bets depending on which market you are in.
You’d probably have to do a new set of press moves too

Re: 100X Odds - Gimmick or Benefit?
Anybody know what the break point is for each number where a put bet with odds becomes more efficient than a place bet?
I've seen the list somewhere before and could probably find it again (or calculate it) but if somebody knows it, please share.

Re: 100X Odds - Gimmick or Benefit?
Mostly a gimmick, but of advantage to a sensible player who wants to press his/her action using the very lowest of house edge positions. Add in put bets to the mix and the $10 Cromwell table should be of interest to any player who like throwing around a few hundred per time on a roll. Of course most...

Re: How do YOU handle Crapless Craps?
House edge is a lot higher for basic passline play so that's perhaps got a lot to do with it - lazy I guess from CET but very interesting to hear nontheless.
Has anybody noticed this with higher ratings at Harrahs in Biloxi?

Re: Where's the Dark Side Love ??
What's your transition process BD? Something like passline after a point made? Then a 7 can be a great triple whammy with two DCs and pass bet getting paid or do you wait and maybe place dominant numbers that have rolled more than expected?

I'll second that. H's press moves detailed above are by his own admission aggressive and won't suit everybody.

Re: DC 5 count?
I think $200 on a $10 table is fine for DC play. You could play up to say 3 DCs per shooter having a "reload once" policy and/or stop when one DC gets knocked off. 200 here with a max exposure of 30 per shooter in this manner will allow you to grind it out for ages. I also think $500 is fi...

Re: towards a regression play for the donts
H, in your example of laying a number $1800 first then $1200 as the second bet, the regression doesn't seem big enough, or at least not relative to what we talk about when looking at the other side of the game. On these numbers there is too much risk that if you lose bet 2 you still end up negative ...
