Re: Jedi Mind tricks and the Dark Side
I don't think it matters where you position yourself or your chips. I play a lot of DP right next to the Stick and its amazing how many flingers still hit my chips on the way to the wall. Errr should I say: fateful way to the wall, as it seems hitting my darkside chips just puts the whammie on them...

Re: Jedi Mind tricks and the Dark Side
BTW, just wondering -
since discretion is the better part of valor, do any of you all tip a shooter you Don't-ed?
Or just leave them alone with the agony of defeat?

Re: Jedi Mind tricks and the Dark Side
I just quietly make my bet and sit back and wait time and chance to happen. I never say much at a craps table . I play to relax and not worry about the world. The only tables I try to avoid are the ones with loud players , whether Rightside or Darkside, which is why I seldom play after 6 PM on week...

Re: Jedi Mind tricks and the Dark Side
Recently I have seen more and more Don't players actively rooting for the seven; mainly twenty somethings, though not always. It always seems to torque off the shooters-who lose it; and is frankly unnecessary as the dice have no ears. I'm more quiet at the table as why talk when you've got the Forc...

Re: Jedi Mind tricks and the Dark Side
Second nickel...... When I'm setting I've encountered the Don't players with the chip towers - use it to bear down harder. They keep stacking and calling for the seven. I don't understand why a don't player feels compelled to buck the odds on a DI, yeah sure sometimes they win, most they don't. Nic...

Re: Jedi Mind tricks and the Dark Side
Typically I'm playing the Don'ts from my SR or SL shooting position - which means I have to reach waaaay across the table to get my DC bets out. But no, I don't do anything to intefere with the shooter in any way. That includes on those occasions where I'm standing straight out and laying significa...

Jedi Mind tricks and the Dark Side
My first real experience with Don’t players was a very negative one. Imagine playing alone on a table just to get a feel for the table bounce and dealers. Since it is just to warm up, I had maybe $100 in chips and mainly just breaking even. Then, from out of the shadows, up steps this flaming A-hole...
