I use OHCM as a go to opening on the green chip tables that seem to be default on the weekend Vegas strip.
A small change is applied when 6/8 is a point. When the point is a 6, I place the 5. Similar with the point of 8, place the 9.

Re: Betting the Six and Eight
A less aggressive play I have used is...
Start with $18 on both six & eight
First hit , drop $3, and press both six & eight to $30
Second hit collect $35
From there one has (-$4) in the bank with $60 in action. One can power press, regress, or same bet going forward.
Disclaimer: Probably learned ...

The other day I came across a guy from Hawaii, I have always been interested in what their thinking is, so I tuned in. He seems pretty savvy, however the presentation is kinda dull, so you have to stay with him. Kinda like this thread.
I was surprised to see that they are dedicated to the ...

Re: Six and Eight, Inside, Outside, or Across?
An aggressive play (for me) I have been war gaming: place six and eight for $18. First hit, drop $3 and make them both $30 each. Collect on the second hit, on third hit press one to $42.

Re: The All, Small or Tall Bet
If you know your DI data and have a SRR > 7 and/or RBS (Rolls Between Sevens) Average > 7+ why would you NOT bet it? Let's break it down a bit - betting the Small and Tall costs $2 - and pays $31 (your original bet + $30); the All costs $1 to win $151. So that's about every fifteen tries to win ...

Have you tried one of those absorbent micro-fiber cloths used to clean a pair of glasses? Any optometrist should have them.
Cleaning your glasses is an innocent gesture that should not attract attention. Even if it does, hand the cloth over for inspection, there is nothing to hide.

Re: Betting Strategy For Blockers
If you expect the shooter to throw a lot of horns or 7-s in the CO roll, you could do $5 world and $6 hop 7-s ($2 each).
Then after the point is set, you can place the point for the odds you intended to take.
You win pretty much the same amount, if not more.
Thanks. I normally shoot for a point ...

Thank you for the replies.
The point cycle looks straight forward. Place betting the point made on a 3-4-5 table, as Heavy stated: the 6/8 is a wash. The 5/9 is wash as well. Looks like the buy 4/10 yields a bonus totaling the (pass line bet - vig).

Betting Strategy For Blockers
Hello,
I recently had the privilege to meet up with a few DI's. One thing stressed by them is a
clean landing zone. Several of them had taken turns at the Stick R/L Hook and Straight
Out positions to ensure the landing area is clear of chips.
Each of them used different betting strategies for the ...
