Re: Nfl

Typo. It should have been $300/$12. Meanwhile, would have lost the small dog @ +18.

See if you can find another site with a different spread and try and hit a middle. (opened @ 14.5, now 19, that was perfect for a middle) Pats are 1-6 in last seven meetings with Miami. Pats are 3-7 in their last 10 road games. Miami at home is 7-2 ATS against a team with a winning record. Most bett...

Re: your personal craps rules

Since I can't shoot any more, a function of age and physical deterioration, any table is fine with me as I use my OH-CM, I am one roll away from the trend either hot or cold, makes no difference to me. But the best thing I do is leave my ego at the door. That was the hardest thing for me to ever do....

Re: Baseball Sports betting

Boy was I wrong. Whoda thunk it, Kopeka almost blew it. Man, when the wind picked up (to ~12mph), that course was basically unplayable. Six finished under par of 156 starting players. One even par, everyone else over par. R: You were right on the Dustin Hedge, I was wrong. First misssstttaakkke I ev...

Re: Baseball Sports betting

Well, Dustin has no chance to overtake Kopeka, he is 8 strokes behind and Kopeka will only increase his lead. On the back nine, he made two bogies.

Re: PGA Picks

r: Everyone is in trouble on this course so what is happening now doesn't mean a lot. Right now, all are just trying to shoot par and stay in the hunt. I suspect the cut will be somewhere around +7, maybe more. What is happening is when a player gets in a sand trap, he is fooked because of the high ...

PGA Picks

The Bethpage State Park Black Course is one bad MF. Tiger won here in 2002 with a score of -3 (277) and that was in his prime. So, my pick as a favorite, which really isn't a favorite is Jason Day at 20-1, but I like Rory McIlroy 12-1 also. He has not been playing well since he got hurt over a year ...

Re: Kentucky Derby 2019

According to a report, bettors would have won over $42 million on 9-2 favorite Maximum Security, which helps explain why the eventual winner, Country House, was so heavily booed after it was announced he won. hahaha. That's pretty funny. I gave up the ponies many years ago when I could see several r...

Seattlerick: That reminds me of when the Rangers were coached by Bobby Valentine, they were in first place, went on a road trip to the West coast, when they returned home, 12 or so games later, they were in last place.

R: I am getting a real kick out of reading your bets. BB is such a sport that you never know who will get hot, who will go into a slump, who is just mailing it in, who will not run out the obvious out. The manager that all he can do is move players around but has no way to motivate a player making a...

Re: Baseball Sports betting

Back when I was betting FB, I tried to do my parlays this way: Two early games, one afternoon game so I could get a bet in on the other team if my first two won. A four teamer? Two early, one afternoon and one later. Bet the other afternoon team just enough to cover my nut (amount bet), then if I ha...

Thnick: I watched #2 of Action, missed the first one. That documentary made me want to throw up. Those folks are sick. However, there was one gem in the mess: Betting too many games. If you are going to bet sports, one might want to limit his games. Fading 10% on every game is a recipe for disaster....

Mine is pretty simple: keep the greed factor in check. Press with won money but cover the nut or most of it first.

Re: Two questions

Scout: When writing about craps, plagiarism is just about a given because anyway one looks at craps, it is a finite game that has been around for thousands of years so writing anything original is just about impossible. Why are there hundreds of books on craps and basically not an original thought i...

Re: Two questions

FYI: Yes, I have played craps with MP twice, abet, I did not know who he was at the time. I had to put two and two together to figure it out, emailed him and he said I was correct. The first time, he was at the end of an empty table at the Four Queens with a load of chips. I pulled up beside him and...

Re: Why not skip the come out roll and just lay the point?

Oh, so if the point is 4 and you lay $20 you actually get $10? I was thinking that laying the 4 for $20 would get you $20. Was not aware that laying a number actually is the odds bet. Now that makes sense. That's correct LPC. Lay bets pay the inverse of the equivalent buy (or free odds) bets. So pa...

For me, the V-3 throws more sevens than any other set. V-2 on CO then the V-3. Oh, yea, Heavy gets irritated at me when I do not tell him that I am shooting to seven out.
