Re: Pai Gow Poker - One of the best games for casual players!
Noticed Face Up Pai Gow poker at the Durango the other day when I was there for the first time. Sorry, I didn't stop to notice any details but I will try to remember to do that next trip.

Re: Pai Gow Poker - One of the best games for casual players!
Saw a couple of tables of "faceup" Pai Gow poker at Palace Station yesterday. They were full. Just walking by so I didn't note the minimum but would guess not too high at Palace Station. Don't know if faceup is better but hadn't seen that one before. If anyone is interested I will keep pos...

Re: Chasing the point
Different approaches depending on what you are really trying to accomplish I think. For me, I almost look at Come Out rolls as "dead rolls" since bets are not working on the Come Out (of course some might choose to have Place Bets working). I want to roll one number multiple times on a pre...

Re: Heavy's Don't Odds Progression
Thanks Heavy! My comment was not on the book or professor who wrote it. It sounds like a great book! I was laughing as a booster of college sports and teams that we like and dislike because of geography, etc. I know sports is quite secondary to the education that is provided by each school but it is...

Re: What is the longest roll you have seen
The longest roll I have been a part of was my own. Will be 5 years ago in September. An 83 counting the 7 out with no other 7's. Fairly efficient as not many players with half table open. A little over an hour long. Don't remember a whole lot as I was deeply in the zone. My husband played and counte...

Always enjoy this thread even though I only understand about half of it! Good read. Thanks to those that decoded Wofbytes systems.
Wonder how Wolfbytes systems would have been massaged to include the new Craps table "Feature Bets"? That would have been fun and enlightening!

Re: To Lay or Not to Lay - That is the Question
I don't bet the bonus bets often but I never hedge or lay bet if it is close. I think it is gravy when all that is left is one box number to hit it. Do I always hit that number that is left? Of course not but better odds than having to toss a horn number to complete it. For me anyway. The vig is a s...

Agree on American Table Games. Took longer than anticipated to get it but worth the wait. Have had mine for 5 years and still happy happy with it!

Re: Purchase a craps table Casino grade
Personally I have had good luck with my American Table Games experience and table that I bought about 5 years ago. They will customize to meet your needs. I am sure there are other good companies as well.

Re: When is it time to switch bets if I'm not tossing my usual numbers?
I don't have any great wisdom on this. But this is why I keep table notes after I play. Even though my numbers may not be consistent with my home results some tables do seem to have a "different" consistent number or numbers from my toss on them. Of course, this is if I am consistently hit...

Seems rudeness and the "Me" mentality has taken over the USA if not the whole world. Although when I lived out of country I saw a lot less of the above. OK, me venting as well.

Re: $1200 / $2400 Inside Regression
Hi Sixer, I am trying to picture this in my mind so I have a couple of questions. Thanks for any info! Even if the point you set is inside do you still place all four numbers inside? Would guess this is a yes but let me know your thoughts. Why not have the inside money set and working on the Come Ou...

Then again paraphrasing Maddog who enjoyed saying "some days a DI gets something to work". Plus what Heavy said, some days its happening and some days it ain't.... Along these same lines, one of my favorite quotes ever was by Hayden Frye when he was the Iowa football coach. "The sun d...

Re: CARRYING CASH
Not a problem for me now, but when I used to fly internationally my first stop upon arrival was at a Wells Fargo bank to get any amount I wanted. If holding too much for a return flight my last stop was also Wells Fargo. Of course, only works during banking hours and if you are with a national bank ...
