Re: Betting Strategies for a Slow Post Day

Hi Memo, Let's see if we can delve deeper into answering your question. No matter how good our dice-influencing skills are, we will generally have more short (1 to 8 roll) point-cycle hands than we do of the medium (9 to 20 roll) variety. Moreover, we will have even fewer long (21 to 50 point-cycle...

It will be interesting to see if the average hand-duration, duration-erosion, and hand survival-rates that H comes up with vary at all from the ones I've been posting for the last decade or so.

Hi Dork, MP's axioms of advantage-play dice-influencing #71....If you are playing just to play, or to pass the time while you are waiting on somthing; then you'll likely end up losing more often than you win. #33...If you are convinced you can win more on random-rollers than you can gain on your ow...

Normally I'd post an article like this in the STOCK-trading thread here on H's board; but I don't think our friend, Dylanfreake , (whom I know as a HUGE Vidalia onion fan) visits that sub-board very often, so this seemed like as good a place as any. Georgia judge asked to stop new Vidalia onion rul...

Re: If you keep a log, what do you record in it?

The 'objective' things like time, date, table-number, buy-in/cash-out, etc are important; but I also like to look at the 'subjective' things too because they often provide the much needed insight into what went right ...what went wrong ...what my attitude was BEFORE...DURING...and AFTER the session...

The house edge on the Small and Tall bet is 7.76%, while the house-edge on the All bet is 7.99%. ~If a casino does not count Come-Out 7's as an ATS-loser (if n...

I don't agree with the assumption that all random rollers are bad either. I've made a lot of money off random rollers. The key word there is RANDOM. If they all went point-seven then we'd call them predictable rollers and play one DP. I could go on and on but it always comes down to money magement....

Hi Dork, If you are playing at a solo or near-solo table, and you want to KEEP it that way; then, as you hand in a dealer-toke , politely ask the stickman if he can keep his " win " calls as LOW as possible...and to make his 7-Out calls as LOUD as possible. 8-) That's usually sufficient t...

Hi Dork, Generally, if the shooting-conditions remain good, and the table hasn't been colonized by mid-hand newcomers; then I'll stick around for one more try if the dice-return lap-time still looks reasonable. My reasoning? If your shooting is good, and the casino's win-tolerance remains high; the...
